I love this for a one cup person. I have used it for over a month and since it is glass as with any glass you have to handle with care. I think its sturdy and durable for my use. Be nice to travel with too.

Yes, this is easy to use BUT the round hard metal disc that attaches to the bottom screen is extremely sharp and when removing pieces, be careful as we cut our thumb pretty badly. You can feel the edges of the disc were not properly softened so the metal has a sharp edge. Would not buy again.
