I mainly spend my time in VRChat. Got a Quest Pro for face and eye tracking and SlimeVR for full body. Haptics seemed like the logical next step to round out my VR experience. Initially I was very hesitant on getting this due to the price but eventually figured I'd buy one to try it out and if it really didn't seem to contribute meaningfully to the experience then I'd just return it. I've only had it for a few days and have decided I'm keeping it. The vest itself may not be worth what they're charging for it but the integration they've done for games and how simple it was to setup on my VRChat avatar makes the price seem more justified to me. Was super easy to get up and running with this. The only thing that I don't like about it is that the zipper is noisy when the top vibrates. However, this can be rectified by tieing a zipper pull around it to dampen that noise. This also has other use cases such as enabling audio link when you're watching movies so that you feel the rumble of things like explosions though I haven't tried that out just yet.

I heard a lot of good things about this haptic vest so I was excited to finally get my hands on it. The vibrations on it just aren't strong/constent enough to get the feeling of touch or anything constant. I feel like this would be very good for FPS shooters but I had a lot of difficulty trying to get it to work for the game Contractors. I tried using this for VRChat and it honestly just feels wrong and stiff, I honestly feel less immersed in the world with this vest on then off, which is a real shame... If you have a lot of money, play VR FPS games, and have the patients to make this work I'd say go for it. But if your more of a casual like me who wanted to go for peak immersion this just isn't the thing for you. Save your money and wait for the next big thing to come out.

I think it was more of a 150 dollar item is cool but it’s a glorified rumble pack it’s nice but for the price kinda wish it came with more then just vest for price

You'll need to tape the zipper, otherwise this item takes virtual reality to the next level. I don't play VR without it. battery life is incredible.

I use this in vrchat, it's awesome when you can feel the touch of others and are able to react to that accurately. It adds another layer of immersion that will make the experience more visceral. The battery lasts a long time and will definitively last throughout the experience. Having experienced this I will buy more devices to complete the haptic experience.

This vest is awesome. Once you use the vest you can’t play without it! Super easy to hook up to your oculus. Getting shot or having an explosion go off beside you it feels like a core work out. When you shoot a high power weapon you feel the recoil in your shoulder. Makes you want to buy the full setup.
