In my opinion this truck stands up to its price,but be aware you get what you pay for.Do not expect a large sized truck.What you can expect is a little small compared to other rc trucks out there.I myself wanted to add it to my rc collection.No I do not run these trucks as I order for Collection purposes only.I gave it 4 stars lacking the fifth star due to size advertised as being bigger.Compared to a Hot Wheels Big Foot truck on a 125 scale size it is only a few inches short of it.Yes the bad part of ordering online is the pictures can be deceiving.My Big Foot truck measures 8 inches outside wheel to outside wheel,while this truck measures 10 inches from wheel to wheel.Keep in mind that the Big Foot truck is a diecast not a rc.I received a quick ship plus this truck had no damage in shipping.Other than the size being off point I say buy it.,,,,,,,,Good Day.

Easy to use and fun!

My two big remote control cars began to stop working or having battery issues (one battery got so hot while charging it melted the wire), but they were 9MHz ones - so OLD. Starting to replace them and get my 6 year old into playing with me :-) I got this truck and a couple other cars so far. The prices are much better than they used to, and we love driving them around and crashing them into each other. When it earlier this week we crashed this truck and a stunt car in the garage for at least 30 minutes till the batteries died, it was a blast! We built boxes and ramps - and this truck climbed over them and SMASHED everything in its side! My kid was so happy - which is puts a smile on face as it's something we do together. Outside this truck has no problems driving over any terrain - grass, mulch, rocks, curbs, the poor dog (trying to teach my kid that that's not ok), but you name it and this truck has climbed it. The suspension is weird - all 4 tires are independent and flex in multiple directions - the truck can twist! It is high off the ground and will flip, as hard as my kid and I tried - we couldn't damage it thus far! It comes with TWO (2) batteries! They are much bigger than every other remote control device we have - if we took our other 2 remote car batteries and combined them they still wouldn't be as big. Since the truck isn't that fast and is meant to climb over things, the batteries last a LONG time - the only downside is that you need to take a screw out of the battery cover to change and charge the battery. This seemed odd for the price since it is not a cheap car and most in the price range can have the cover removed - but at the same time it does make it more solid. Catch 22 I guess. The controller is a standard trigger controller - pull the trigger it moves forward, push it and it reverses. There is a tire wheel that you turn to steer the front wheels, and motor for the steering is loud and strong. A good powerful truck that is durable and easy to drive since it's not super fast and doesn't care about the terrain it's on. That's why it's fun - it can climb, crash, smash, jump, and go wherever my kid wants it to!

Bough this for our sons birthday among a few other things. Straight out the box, this was the only thing he wanted to play with. Glad it came with two batteries which has allowed him to rotate them out, albeit they took a few hours to fully charge upon initial use. One bad note for this review of a exceptional toy, after less than 10 days of playing with it, the rear motor just seemed to up and die. Front motor, started to get a bit jumpy as well. Wouldn't work except with a nudge to get them started. Though it may have been a battery issue but all batteries were fresh, even those in the remote. On the flip side to this ordeal, contacted the e-mail address on the card that was in the box and would have to say that customer service has been outstanding to this point. Not even 24 hours later had an e-mail who wanted to know what the issues were. Was asked to upload pictures or video of the failed product which we did. Once this was completed, the next day had an e-mail expressing how sorry they were for the failed item and that a replacement would be shipped out. Finally, received confirmation of a new being shipped now we are just waiting for its arrival. I will say that we plan to buy again from this company, great product and customer service to boot.
