I really like this little greenhouse! It is providing just the extra warmth that our plants needed. I zip or unzip the front door or either of the two side flaps, as needed, to regulate heat and moisture and they roll out of the way quite conveniently. The fabric is durable. Assembly was easy, even with three kids helping! I do have a load on the shelves for the moment. The only problem with that is that some plants, gingers and 2 pineapples. are tall. Therefore, I have had to finagle shelf placement to provide their needs. This results in a bit of instability, but that has been corrected by placement of other larger pots against the bottom wall junctions. I also have a little treefrog enjoying the warmth while inhabiting the pineapples. It climbs around on warmer days. This greenhouse frees up my dining room floor space and keeps the little wildlife safe, too. ... show more

This green house is easy to assemble. The green house is light in weight but its construction is sturdy; all parts stayed put. I added stone weights to the bottom of the green house so that the unit will not blow away in during high winds. I am currently using the green house for surplus storage for my container plants. My husband thanks you for this mini greenhouse, as my seedlings were starting to take over the house. This thing is working quite well for my needs, yet it is too flimsy to use outdoors. Its extremely light weight and the plastic wheels don't roll very well. But it does serve my purpose very well, and was easy to put together. (the instructions are bad, but if you ignore them and just use your brain its super easy to assemble in a few minutes.) I bought the "4 tier clear greenhouse" and growing seedlings in it, and hung a couple light weight grow lights. The shelving is not adjustable, so I had to remove a shelf to get my plants further away from the light. The shelving is also lightweight and probably won't be able to hold a full size plant. The company claims 22lbs per shelf but I don't agree...in my humble opinion. I must also recommend you use a thermometer/hygrometer (found a 2-pack on amazon for $16) to be sure you adjust the greenhouse zipper door for the desired humidity and temps. I was surprised at the difference this little greenhouse made. The meter sitting outside the green house reads 40% humidity, while the meter inside reads 87% humidity even when the zippers are open some. I have been experimenting the past couple days trying to figure out the perfect zipper door opening, because this thing starts dripping with condensation inside quickly with the door zipped closed. The door is designed to tightly roll up and then tie 2 tiny bows to hold it up. This gets annoying quickly, so I also recommend the "chip-clip" method to hold the door open. :) ;) Overall I'm happy with this mini greenhouse - but know what you are buying - this thing is not going to do well outdoors. This price point fell in the middle of comparable products, so I can only wonder what the even cheaper models are like... Shipping was fast and it arrived a day early. ... show more

I was able to assemble it alone in about an hour. No tools needed. Definitely sort the pieces before starting assembly. I did get some help putting on the cover. We will see how it holds up to Texas wind. The shelves do bend under weight so they could hold seed trays or small plants, not full clay pots. ... show more

    • Degraded plastic after first year

I bought this in spring 2022 and am in my second year of using it. It was disassembled and stored indoors from October until February, but appears that the plastic degraded from being in direct sunlight for its first 6 months of use. This fact doesn’t surprise me because that’s what plastic does in UV light. What disappoints me, though, is that it doesn’t appear a replacement cover is available in this size from this company; and replacement covers from other companies won’t work because the sizes aren’t exactly the same. After this year, I will likely have to throw the entire thing away, including the frame, which is still in decent condition. It would be really nice if Eagle Peak would sell replacement covers for all the tents they sell, so the frames can continue to be used. It would also be nice if the shelves were deeper. They’re made to hold a 20x10 tray sideways instead of longways, so very few trays fit inside compared to the overall footprint of the tent. It would be much better if there were at least 20” deep shelves across the back of the tent, where there is nothing but dead space. Having 20” deep shelves on the sides would also be much more ideal, even if it meant reducing the width of the door by a couple inches. There are also no shelves at the ground-level, meaning trays have to sit directly on the ground. This is problematic when grass under the tent grows tall, and when roots in the pots start growing into the ground below because the ground is literally touching the bottom of those pots. ... show more

    • Great Greeshouse

My previous greenhouse, very similar to this but dif company, lasted 5 years with fixes and maintenance. This one is already better because all the correct parts arrived with the kit- I didn’t have to fabricate pvc connectors. Also, the shelf clips are a welcome difference- as my previous one I had to attach with zip ties (although you will need to find some wood that spans the shelf frame for any substantial pots- like fence pickets, maybe). I don’t need the windows but some might I guess. I would recommend wrapping the plastic connectors with green electrical tape after the first one or two years- or right away. FYI, I set a couple 12x12 pavers on the frame inside and some smaller pavers on the outside to hold the cover ends down. For my previous one, I took the cover off, cleaned and stored for each summer and moved the frame to the back yard. This worked well for me in mild southern winters but may not be a good solution for harsher climates. Super easy to put together for one person- clear instructions.
