Features

  • Front Light & Extra PVC Body ShellThe BEZGAR 1- HM101 RC Truck is equipped with a Headlight, which will be automatically turned on when the remote control truck is switched on which makes the RC Truck even more realistic. To a certain extent, the LED headlight can be used to locate the RC Truck and identify the heading direction of the RC Truck. It can even detect the terrain when there is insufficient light. The extra car shell brings you a fantastic driving experience.
  • PA Chassis and Reinforced Body FrameThe whole chassis of the remote-control truck is made of nylon which is synthetic thermoplastic linear polyamide (PA) and nylon which has many reliable features such as chemical-resistance, elastic, insulativity etc. All these properties give the truck a better ability to reduce the impact caused by collisions and therefore help to prolong its life-cycle.
  • Hobbyist Grade Brushed MotorEquipped with a type 550 Brushed Motor which can perform high revolutions per minute. The motor generates a great horsepower for the RC Truck. This has made a huge enhancement for the acceleration and it allows the remote control truck to have a top speed of 48 Km/h which gives a greater competitiveness in drag races. However, please keep in mind that the speed differs in different terrains.
  • IPX5 Level Waterproof StandardThe electronic speed controllers (ESC) / Receiver of this hobby grade RC truck has several protective functions such as Splash-proof, IPX5 Water resistance, over-current protection and battery low voltage cut off protection. The truck can take water splashes from multiple directions and small puddles but not submersion. The RC truck will automatically power off if there is a submersion to any part. In this case, please dry it out then it will be fine.

  • I ended up buying 2 of these. They are AWESOME and worth the extra cost over toy versions.
Color: Yellow-black
I have been looking at hobby grade RC cars for quite some time but I just couldnt justify spending $300+ on a toy for myself as an adult. But now my son is 4yo and in love with toy RC cars so I purchased him the Bezgar 12 toy grade RC car and decided to get the Bezgar 1 for myself so we could play together. There is a HUGE difference between the Bezgar toy grade and Hobby grade. The toy grade is fun. Cuts through packed leaves no issues unlike the walmart cars, goes up a 45 degree slope and moves over rocks and obstacles no issues, but the toy grade is stiff and slow. My Bezgar 1 on the otherhand, also rips through leaves handles slopes and goes over anything that the wheels can grab traction on. The problem I ran into is while my son loved his new car, once he saw my car.. there was no turning back. "Dad, can we share? You try mine and let me drive yours!" Theres no comparison. We went to the skate park christmas evening and took the 2 cars into one of the pools... his toy grade did great.. went about 3' up the curved walls and was great fun... My Bezgar 1... made it all the way up 12' walls and jumped out of the pool landing on the ground and kept going. That night when we got home, I ended up buying a 2nd Bezgar 1 so I didnt have to share... There is a dial on controller to adjust maximum speed. This is a wonderful feature. When im racing against slower car, or when my son is driving, i turn the speed way down. At the slowest setting its still 50% faster than the Toy versions, but is easier to control and due to the fantastic power, it can still climb up the 6-8' walls in the skating pools but doesnt crash as often as it doesnt get quite so much air flying out. The suspension works fantastic and keeps the vehicle quite stable when crawling over small rocks and other obstacles and after coming off jumps it absorbs impact exceedingly well without bouncing. I accidently launched the car at night off a ramp into a skate pool and it dropped about 14' landing on its wheels and kept going. I dont recommend doing that on purpose but it was quite impressive. The range seems to be about 200' or so on the remote and once of range it cuts out and the headlights start blinking until you get back in range then it automatically pairs back up and works again. I would prefer a little longer range, but its plenty for 99% of the places I want to use it. I have read that these cars lose speed offroad and driving over grass and leaves but I have not experienced that at all. From a dead stop, it takes a few extra feet to get up to speed on lawn or leaves, but once this thing is moving its a beast and nothing i have throw at it slows it down so far. It does have working headlights and while they dont illuminate the road in front of it real well, they do make it much easier to see in the evening and they are bright. Battery life is great. I would say I get 15min continous play out of a battery on high speed. About 20min if i turn the speed dial down all the way. It comes with 2 batteries so we can get a good 30min of playtime in before have to recharge. As a 46yo adult, 30min is perfect. My 4yo would prefer 2 hours, but understands we have to charge th batteries. They also sell extra batteries cheap on Amazon. I plan on ordering at least 4 more just to have on hand for when we go walking or hiking so I can toss them in my backpack. If it will let me add videos and pix after posting review ill upload some from my iphone of these cars in action at the skate park and maybe in my backyard doing tricks. Cons: --The body shell doesnt hold up very well. The body on my truck was cracked and missing a few sections after 1 day of use... I should say 1 day of ABuse because it was a bit of a learning curve getting to control the car properly when its flying through the air. To remedy this, I used gorilla tape and reinforced the entire underside of my shell and replaced the missing sections with gorilla tape. For my sons car, I taped it all up before I gave it to him so while I expect it will still crack, the tape will hold it all together. If you drive with the wheels on the ground instead of sliding with the wheels in the air, there shouldnt be much issue :) No other cons I have at this time but ill update after a month. At time of writing, its only been 4 days of use. Last thing: Customer support has been awesome so far, responsive within 24hours answering questions and they seem really cool. I look forward to using more of their products in the future. ... show more

  • Decent starter for getting into RC
Color: Yellow-black
Bought this on a whim. Was looking for RC cars for my grade-school aged son, as he's suddenly interested. We got a few of the cheapy ones from Walmart for he and a buddy. Started looking at bigger options at WM, then looked on Amazon and found this Bezgar truck. Read the reviews, made the purchase. Delivery, packaging, and contents - can not complain. Charged the 18650 batteries to a full charge, they ran as advertised (got 30+ minutes out and then some out of the first charge, as I wasn't dogging it or doing anything crazy). Ran it in my yard and up and down our sidewalk, no issues until the next day, when our neighbor found the loose piece on the sidewalk in front of his house (the piece in my pictures). He asked if I knew what it was and said it didn't belong to him. I didn't realize I had lost a part of the truck until he found it. I figured out how to place it back in place, but it happened again the very next time I drove it a few days later in my back yard. Again, no hot dogging or crazy stunts, just getting used to driving it and how it behaves. So, lost this same part twice, fortunately I recovered it twice. Am hesitant to take it to the local RC track for fear of that same part again (or any other parts for that matter). As far as battery life, the ones which came with the truck are 1500mAh. When I made the purchase on Amazon, I also bought some other higher mAh rated batteries (got some 2400 mAh's and some 3000mAh's). They all worked for about 2-3 minutes of slow driving, but then the truck abruptly stops and powers off. I have searched, but am not able to find anything regarding a current-limiting circuit associated with the motor and circuitry, which I am assuming is the cause of this. I was just trying to avoid having to spend $30 for just two batteries to be able to drive this truck for more than 30 minutes at a time. Fortunately, in the box is an instruction manual and a full part number listing for each and every component on the truck. I have a feeling I will need to use this sooner rather than later. Maybe i should just stock up on extra parts and batteries... Driving the truck is pretty fun (for a first timer). I've had plenty of RC cars, but nothing like this. There is a rotary speed limiting dial on the remote so you can keep a slower top speed if you wanted to hand it off to a kid or someone who hasn't driven one before. I would definitely recommend this truck, as it's price point is great and the bang for the buck most definitely exceeds my expectation. Minus 1 star for losing the same part twice in two consecutive drives. ... show more
