EDIT: After less than a few hours of run time, the front axle actuator fails. I can't find replacement parts, to replace the broken front axle (rendered it a 3WD, not 4WD). Talked with amazon for support, and it's apparently just a refund. Fast, well made to stand up to some high jumps, easy and enjoyable to control. Purchased for my 5 year old, so it's been through a long day of testing. Great handling in grass, on pavement, on stones, on leaves, on dirt. However -- we did manage to break the front axle (where it connects to the one wheel, which seems to be only a pin missing). Now it's only 3 wheel drive. Batteries. Terrible. Honestly, they'd last about 15 min each at 100% speed. Which isn't too bad, but still not that great. If they used a diffferent set of Li-Po, perhaps different brand, the Ah would be better suited for longer run time. If you're able to get them to fit in the truck, another brand of 7.4v would work well. I ordered a set of new front axles for 10 bucks, and hope to have it back to 4WD by next weekend. ... show more

    • Not bad for a first RC truck
I bought this RC truck just to play around with when we go out desert camping. The truck itself so far has handled some very rough use and has yet to fail. The remote control is very responsive and the range is more than enough without worrying about losing signal. Don't expect it to be as good as a real hobbyist RC truck. The truck suspension is super bouncy and tends to lose traction with rougher terrain. The tires grip ok but the truck will get stuck in thick grass if your lawn is kept longer. It is a fast little truck though and will really move quickly on smooth roads or pavement. Overall, this is a good, fun RC truck but don't expect it to run with real RC trucks. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Got it as a Christmas gift for my SO who is a child at heart. He LOVES it. I did take one star off because the cover is a bit weak and already cracked, but you can get all different kinds of covers and my guy isn’t all that upset. Also the dog loves chasing it. The media could not be loaded. This Rc car is a really good model for people just starting out the hobby. It is so fast that when I first saw it's speed, I immediately knew it is a hobby grade level rc. It comes with 2 batteries a remote, charger, truck, and batteries for the rc controller.
