  • Perfect for Mixing and Mastering
I wanted as close to a perfectly neutral pair of headphones as I could find for use in the studio. After doing a lot of research I selected these and boy am I glad. They are neutral but not "flat" if you get my drift, clear and detailed across the whole frequency spectrum and the soundstage is huge. *Exactly* what I was looking for, well made and comfortable, and very reasonably priced. Five stars. :-) ... show more

  • Awesome headphones!
Highly linear and accurate professional grade headphones, with the 80 Ohm version being ideal for use with mobile devices. Incredibly comfortable with super comfortable velour ear pads. Ultra high build quality, Made In Germany. By far, the best sounding headphones in the under $200 range. Highest cost performance ratio. Just buy them! ... show more

  • Not for me and not better than the Sony MDR 7506
When I found these headphones on a forum post I was told they were an upgrade and decent replacement for my Sony mdr 7506's. I knew about buyer dynamic long before and trusted them for their quality, unfortunately I quickly found key flaws with this product after use. The clamp force is stronger than almost any other headphones I've used excluding Sennheiser's line. With the padding it was like putting my ears in a sauna every hour. I also realized the sound quality differed, the headphones had more bass but less clear sound compared to my Sonys. They aren't bad quality when compared to most headphones but they do not serve as a proper replacement or better one at that. Headphone preference is subjective of course so to each their own. In the end I gave them to a good friend that needed a new pair of headphones and he loves them. ... show more
