We purchased this rug for our lanai in Hawaii. I was looking for something that would ship here for free (difficult to find for rugs shipping here), and affordable (even more difficult to find for rugs shipping here). I also needed it light enough that it wouldn't mold, because the area where we live is very wet and rainy. I think it looks wonderful in our space, and I am so happy with our purchase. We've had it on our lanai about three months, and it has held up really well. I was pretty hesitant to purchase a white rug, since we have that red dirt here that can really stain fabric, but I think it still looks great. My kids also colored all over the rug with chalk (unfortunately multiple times), and I hosed the rug down each time, and the chalk came right out, and it looked cleaner over all. We've also had a couple pee incidents on the rug (We've put it through a lot in 3 months) which I hosed off as well. And I haven't noticed any mold issues. So, all in all, VERY easy to clean and holds up well. Exactly what you'd want for an outside rug. Honestly, even if this rug starts to look dirty after a year or so, I'll probably just purchase the exact same rug again. It is such a good price and value for your money. I saw some others commented on a smell, but I did not notice a smell at all. Then again, I have only kept it outside. It also flattened out from it's packaging really quickly. I would say it is only an outdoor rug. It's too thin to use inside your house and doesn't have much of a fabric feel. But if you're strapped for cash and really want a rug, this is pretty enough to put inside. I also haven't noticed the edges coming up in the wind, and it is very windy here. ... show more

House full of kids and pets and this thing stays looking new!!! stains are easy to clean. Use warm water, vinegar and baking soda and the stains are gone. Vacuum goes over no problem. No tears or frayed edges like our past rugs. Good by overall.
