I had some concern from a few recent poor reviews, but am happy to report mine came perfect! This was an upgrade from an old T Shirt press I had inherited from my late father, so I had the knowledge out the gate how these things work. Was fully assembled and ready to use out of the box. I use mine for vinyl so I have no need to use this at a higher temp than 325 degrees, so I at this time I can't report if there are any high temp issues. Initial use took about 15 minutes to heat up, after that only a few minutes to get to my programmed temperature. I have had no problems using everyday. Keeps consistent heat during use, the timer and temperature are easy to program. This seems well made and while quite heavy, I was pleasantly surprised how much easier the handle was to lift and close after using my old one. I was building some biceps opening and closing that monster! :-) For the experienced user of heat presses, I think it's a great buy! Definitely recommend!

I now have this machine (because it offers a larger dimension) and also the BetterSub 5 in 1 machine 360 degree turn, and baby when I tell you they both work WONDERFULLY so far. Extremely beginner friendly. Like, cut the box open, take out the already assembled machine, plug it in and get to work type beginner friendly. No hassle whatsoever. The manuals they enclose as well are very detailed and organized. I read a ton of reviews before making these purchases and have seen that some have complained about the machines supposedly not holding their temperature, but the only time I see this is during an actual press. I am not sure why that is even a complaint when the heat that was lost is due to it going into whatever your project is, buuuuut ....... ok. Now, if your machine is set to 380 and during your press it decreases SIGNIFICANTLY, do some research first, contact the company and THEN if all else fails print your return label and return to sender because THAT is a problem. But, 5 to 10 degrees of heat loss ..... the heat did not go anywhere but into your project like it should have and the machine will reach the temperature you set it for soon after you lift the handle. Other than that, PURCHASE THIS!!!

The media could not be loaded. I chose this 15” x 15” large capacity clam shell model for our business because it didn’t need to be bolted down to anything and would allow me to move it to different places when needed. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. First, though, the pros: 1)Finding the right pressure was trial and error but once we found the optimal setting we were very happy with the results. 2) We were also happy with the heating unit itself which maintains the set temperature and is distributed evenly throughout the heating process. 3)The control box has a timer that starts counting down automatically as soon as you close the machine and beeps when the time is up. There is only one con but it is a dealbreaker and our reason for returning: If using light pressure there is no problem but if set to medium pressure then it becomes all but impossible to close and even harder to open. Everything that I make requires medium pressure so I quickly discovered I'd never be able to operate this machine without my husband‘s help. You can see in the video how difficult and dangerous this is even for my him. He’s an engineer and suggested a handle at the front would have greatly improved the design and protect the operator from burns as there is no way to bolt this machine to a table for leveraging it to open easier. Suction cups on the base would’ve also helped. Overall, this is a dangerous and poorly designed machine and gets a big thumbs down from us. 👎🏻 👎🏻 Hopefully this review will protect future buyers from avoiding burning themselves and/or their projects.

01/28/2022: This is my first heat press, I read probably 300+ reviews spent multiple hours and multiple days researching to find the best starter press (under $200) for my small shop. Every single press I read reviews for it seemed the reviews were 50/50, I came across this one and the reviews were split on this one too, however, a lot had suggested that customer service was exceptional, so it at least had that going for it and I decided to give it a go. Shipping was quick as it only took two days to get to me, no assembly required, just open the box and plug it up. At first I thought the lid was stuck shut, but it’s not, you just have to tug a bit hard the first few uses to get it to release. I will say I’m pretty weak so if you’re someone with some muscle this probably won’t even be an issue for you. Since having it I’ve done about 10 shirts with it, and it works exceptionally well! I haven’t used it with sublimation yet, however, it works perfect with HTV and screen prints! I’m very impressed with it so far, and for a starter heat press I’m thoroughly impressed! Attached is a photo of a shirt with a screen print I did for my business Suella Sage (you can find us on FB 😉)! All in all, I think it is a great heat press so far, and I will be sure to update in a few months!

I ordered this product in February and haven’t had a single problem until the other day. The machine was cutting on and off constantly and wouldn’t heat up all the way. I reached out to their customer service and the lady was very kind. The sent me out a new heatpress after a couple days and it just arrived. I highly recommend this heat press if you’re on a budget.
