  • BETTERSub heat press
The media could not be loaded. The BETTERSUB heat press has been an excellent addition to my craft workshop. The first thing that stands out is its vibrant purple color, which adds a touch of style to my workspace. Ease of Use: The buttons are clearly labeled, and the screen displays all the necessary information, such as temperature and pressing time. It's ideal for both beginners and more experienced users. Performance: The press reaches the desired temperature quickly and remains stable during use, which is crucial for achieving even pressing. I’ve used the machine to transfer vinyl and do sublimation, and in every project, the result has been flawless, with crisp transfers and no burns. Safety: One aspect that reassures me is the emphasis on safety. The machine includes multiple warnings about the hot surface, and the overall design seems focused on minimizing risks during use. The structure feels sturdy and reliable, ensuring the machine stays stable during operation. Conclusion: In summary, the BETTERSUB heat press has exceeded my expectations in every way. Its design and safety features make it an indispensable tool for any craft enthusiast. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality heat press. ... show more

  • Love it , almost 2 years and works like new!
Color: pink
I bought mine 4/2024 and why I paid $260 :/ . Has a better price now. Other than that it has worked perfectly for me. Presses beautifully, no issues with temperature or anything at all thankfully. One thing I never mentioned was that the front edge of the metal plate looked idk scratched if that's what I am trying to say . Noticed it but didn’t really bothered me. Has always worked and that worked for me. I’ll try to add a pic. ... show more

  • Happy with purchase
Originally I received a defective product. I was unable to set the timer so the entire time I was pressing the alarm was going off. Unfortunately I hadn't used it until after the Amazon return window closed. I contacted the company and explained the problem. They had me send a video showing the issue so they could see what was happening and that it wasn't a user error. They made it right and sent me a replacement. I tried it out and it worked properly and I am very happy with my purchase and the service the company provided. It is really nice having a heat press with the pull out platform and has adjustable pressure. I bought this to replace my HTVRont autopress because it didn't allow me to adjust the pressure. If your looking for a great heat press that won't break the bank, go with this one! ... show more

  • It’s awesome!
Color: pink
I love this machine with the pullout slider. It makes it so much easier to see if your design is lined up. I used to have to lay it out on the floor to check my design but now it’s so simple. The release is a little harder but it doesn’t bother me.

  • Good
Love it. I’ve had the press for a month now. Easily adjust pressure, the quality is good and it functions good. The only thing I don’t really like is how loud the button noise is when you’re adjusting temp/time but still worth the 5 stars. If anything changes I will edit my review, but it’s working well for me! ... show more

  • A well made basic press. Heats reasonably quickly, though temperature is lower near edges.
This press is fairly easy to operate. I like the slide out loading tray, since it seems safer to load the machine without getting too close to the hot platen. The lid stays up firmly supported by its springs. The press does not auto-release, so it requires standing right with it while the cycle finishes so it can be manually opened on time. While the press appears to be well made, this is a very basic press, and at its price I didn't expect many extra features. Adjusting the pressure is a guessing game; the only adjustment is a simple screw knob in the center of the press. With experience I'm sure it will become easier to adjust it properly. The knob is a bit stiff to turn. There is some intentional play between the lid and the adjustment screw so it can self-align with things that may not be quite level on the platform. The illuminated power switch makes it easy to see when the press is on. Setting the temperature and the time require sequential pushes of one "Set" button. It would be easier if there were two sets of controls, one for temperature and one for time. Pressing a "Set" button multiple times and then holding for a bit tricky 2 seconds to exit the setting mode is a bit of a bother. The press warms up from room temperature to indicated 360F in about 10 minutes. There's a small indicator on the display to show when the heating element is powered. Note that the hot plate temperature varies significantly across its surface. The actual center temperature is about 10F less than the display (indicated 360F is actually 350F), so I set the temperature 10F above my desired value. From that center temperature it drops even further toward the outer edges. At about one inch from the edge, the temperature is about 20F less than the setpoint. Within an inch or so of the corners, its about 30F less than the setpoint. So for example, that means if you set the press to 360F, the center is actually just 350F, dropping to 340F an inch or so from the edges, and to 330F near the corners. This variability may or may not matter depending on what is being pressed and how much it fills the 15" x 15" platen. I have been successful with several projects so far. An image from a thermal camera is attached, showing the temperature distribution with an indicated 360F setpoint. ... show more
