So, you want to know how sturdy it is...you get what you paid for and if you want something permanent, step up (pun intended). For example, if you don't have a level base (70 concrete blocks for me, there is no floor) don't think you're going to tighten the screws (somehow I came up 90 short) and everything will line up perfectly square as a result--good news, each of the 3 boxes this shed is delivered in (open them in order marked on the box to get the parts you want) have metal triangles to keep the cardboard corners from getting crushed in transit. If you're handy with a drill and can cut them you may be able to use that to square up the shed if you're flooring isn't perfect). And don't assume tightening the screws will suck every panel together for an airtight seal-you may want to grab a tube of your favorite weathersealing and some felt strips for where the front doors and front walls meet if wind-driven rain or bugs are going to be an issue with papers you plan to store inside, etc. If you're ambidextrous and have a portable 3-4 step A-style ladder, you can assemble this all by yourself. the first secret to know, is the first 4 procedures of the manual (after the parts list) are helping you to assemble the 8 foot long horizontal pieces for the front and back walls to put aside ("dock") later (because the 3 boxes the entire shed ships are not 8 feet long). Slip the shiny unpainted parts into the corresponding other sides of part N, O, M and L and now you got it. Now, how to put the roof on yourself (step 7)? First, realize that the end of each piece E that has the part letter stamped into it, will be hanging over the walls and NOT be up at the peak of the roof. Get this wrong and screw holes won't align (also, if you find a screw doesn't work, put it aside, it will magically work someplace else for you). Once you have that, I found it best to screw E and F together, and install as one piece, from back wall to front wall. I also found to install part U (the peak) at the same time, (sliding roof panels E under it as I worked my way to the front of the shed), since I could stand up in the remaining gap in the roof and access each screw location far better, until I was left with one corner of the roof open to close up with the last E/F combination--that I did from the outside of the building and was able to reach screw locations with the ladder half standing in the open doorway. If I or a friend needed another temporary shed, I would order up one of these without regret. It is what you suspect it is and nothing more or less. For what we paid for I'd not that bad, but not super study, one plastic conner piece came broken, a few rust parts, and 87 missing screws. We got more screws at hardware store and sprayed the shed with water proof coating and silant to make it water and humid proof. Instructions book is ok, my husband found a structural video online which was very helpful. ... show more

My dad and I put this together in a day. Came with worded and picture instructions, gloves and all the screws and a screwdriver. Not incredibly sturdy but once together it is servicable.

Missing almost a quarter of screws needed. I had to go to local store to get them because it doesn’t become sturdy until it’s completely put together. Directions were non detailed pictures. Had to take apart several times. Also received a wrong panel that I had to make adjustments & add screw holes.

Definitely the best bang for the buck, however if you want it to be sturdy and last, you'll need to do a few extra items. 1) there is no method for mounting the shed to a base. You will have to get brackets at a hardware store and attach them to multiple places in order to secure the shed to your base. 2) there were no where near enough screws to assemble. You'll need to go buy extra 3) the front doors are TERRIBLE. Uber bad design. 4) top of roof panels are UNPAINTED, bottoms are... Yes, I put them on correctly, they only go 1 way. Scuff the top and paint yourself. 5) structure needs additional bracing even with the side panels installed. A good storm will knock this thing down without it. ... show more

Not easy to assemble. Instructions need to be clearer. Also needs all screws to assemble. Had to buy 100 more screws to finish. Very unsturdy. Will be bracing it with 2x4 so it don't fall down.

Once built not a bad shed for the money. But frame work is flimsy and the instructions leave a lot to be desired. No step by step instructions… was able to figure it out but pictures were not detailed enough either. Also ran out of plastic washers in putting it together. Did not send enough parts. Once you figure it out and put it together it is a nice utility shed for the money. ... show more
