For certain uses these pens are great. I got them intending to use them to make labels for my quilts. If you look at the picture on the left is the pen used on 100% cotton quilting fabric. The weave of the fabric looks big because of the magnification. You can see how the paint bleeds. On paper, on the right, it works great. On any hard surface it will work great. Impressive Paint Markers! These “Betem Oil Based Paint Markers” are probably the best that I’ve ever used. Being chemically sensitive, I love that they have practically no odor…. I had a pair of moose earrings that I picked up on a trip, but I didn’t like the bronze color (they looked silver in the store), so I never wore them. I used the Betem Oil Based Paint Markers on the earrings and I got the nice shiny silver colored earrings that I wanted (see pic.) I used both the medium and narrow tips to paint the earrings. The paint did take awhile to air dry, but it dried quickly after I put the earrings in front of our freezer vent, which puts out warm, dry air. The paint washed off my hands easily. I really like these Betem Paint Markers and highly recommend them. I would definitely buy them again. ... show more

I'm a big fan of oil based paint pens, but not so much water based ones. I tried a certain kind of water based paint pens once, and they were horrible! But I decided to give them another chance with these ones. And I'm really glad I did! These water based paint pens impressed me. The paint didn't smear and mess up my journal pages like I'd experienced previously with another brand. I am going to have to try these pens on different kinds of paper to see how they fare; sometimes with different textures (e.g., glossy, matte, photo paper, etc.) paint pens can work differently. But for now, I am quite pleased with these ones. They were easy to shake up and the paint didn't bleed on the construction paper I was using them on. Score! ... show more

These are really great paint pens. Each pen had two tips, one stout and one fine. The paint flows smoothly and evenly, and dries quickly. The caps attach firmly and won’t come loose unless you are intentionally removing it. I would recommend these pens to anyone who is need of a paint pen.
