It’s a great beginner friendly Bind Then Fly (BTF) FPV Analog Drone kit. I got this because at the time, it was the only way to get a pair of the analog VR04 goggles. I was pleasantly surprised by how good a beginner FPV the Aquila 20 is. I am still only in normal (help me a lot) mode, and usually just trying to keep control as I potter around a loop in POV mode ( No goggles, flying by sight of the drone, and usually walking behind it so I can stay orientated as it turns … The drone felt so good that I even tried it with the goggles. That was going great until I got into an out of control vertical oscillation . Before I knew what had happened, the drone went spinning of into the distance and I lost the video feed. I knew roughly which direction it went it, but had no idea if it’s irientation. It wa last heard with its motors screaming as it had hit a tree somewhere in our neighborhood. Fortunately you can buy just a replacement drone, but it does have to come from BetaFPV, so will probably be a week or two before it arrives … Overall an awesome kit. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a beginner FPV drone a bit bigger than the 65 or 75 tiny whoops.

I really liked how it looks. It’s well made. Looks beautiful. Looks sturdy. But, unfortunately, I got wrong piece which had issues from the beginning. It’s not going up for some reason. It was going sideways. Didn’t want to deal with it anymore.

Just received today. Bought it for a beginner young teenager friend, I myself have been building and flying all sorts of FPV, and RC aircraft over the past 7 years. My thoughts on this drone. Pros - Very beginner friendly, super easy setup, flying within 10 minutes (charge lipos first) - Satisfactory durability, good PC frame and ducts. Save a lot of damaged props and pain when crashing into yourself lol - Impressive battery life, 6 minutes easy - Overall, great beginner drone Cons - Not very upgradeable - Poor antenna/range on both the goggles and drone. A circular polorized antenna would be so much better. - Very poor handling in wind, lots of drag due to the frame. - Underpowered, but it can be a good thing for a beginner, the underpoweredness comes with the plus of a good battery life. I think the battery life is more important for a beginner. - Few other minor cons like noise and stuff, but overall, for the price, this is very impressive. Would recommend only to an absolute beginner, WHO, is in the following criteria - Wants to see if they like FPV - Don't have the budget to invest in something more - Is not able too/willing to learn and invest the time into learning what FPV really takes - Is not interested in upgrading in the future If the person does not fit this, I would recommend sourcing your own higher quality parts and making your own setup. That would require more money, but if you are careful, I think you can get a nice tinywhoop setup for this price.

Lost in fist 5 min...First off not writing a bad or negative review just hoping seller may be empathetic to my problem..Not my first FPV drone but I do lack the evidence to repair for this situation. I had dozens of walmart toy drones and 2 fpv beginner Rtf kits hisingy fpv and Emax wore 4 out 4 them just by hours off use.aftter read and watching YouTube start up videos I started exploring it in the N slow mode on my drive way never get more 6 feet high or away from drone because I was flying line si Site.when 12 took controller under my close supervision (not his drone either)he did well with no slow but he confused the mode toggle with the arm disarm not realizing that he moved the switch M mode when he told me it would it disarm after put his finger on the disarm for him he saf landed it then he promptly reamed to try another fight un aware it was in M mode it shoot up so fast that we instantly lost visual I quill grab controller to bring it back in our direction I could he faintly hear accelerating in my direction then sound stopped abruptly and drom was gone we spent hours with multi google e trying fine but we un successful. Son is now scared of ro even play with toy drones..though my user error was contributing factor to loss I just felt I should be lii more prepared

I started building what we called quadcopters more than 15 years ago but only flew outside by line of sight now that technology has gotten cheaper is the reason I purchased this I only have ten flights inside with this and it's unbelievable for the new person or someone that doesn't want to build the instructions are excellent and I'm 67 years old and if I can do it so can you.
