My pitbull puppy outgrew his 36" crate, so I purchased the 48" one. Wow, so roomy! He really loves it. He's still growing, but will never need a crate bigger than this. It's like he has his own bachelor pad. I could have got him the 42", but I'm glad I got the bigger one (for only $3 more) because he likes stretching out in it when he sleeps. I can tell how proud he is to be in his new quarters. Sometimes his little "sister" who is 2 months younger and considerably smaller, so far, will wander in like she doesn't know it's not hers. (She also outgrew her crate, and has moved into her "brother's" old crate.) There is room enough for both of them to comfortably sit in there and visit. I really like this crate, but honestly, it's not any different than the other 2 crates I've bought, other than size. It's easy to set up and fairly sturdy. I don't expect to fold it up and move it, but most dog crates work the same way. I like that there are 2 doors. I do recommend cleaning the tray before putting your pup inside. There was a slight greasy residue from manufacturing that my dog was licking off and it made him gag. It could have been a something like furniture polish. A good spray-down with the garden hose fixed that, and now he's a very happy camper.

UPDATE: This kennel has been very useful for a mama cat and her kittens. I use it for the kittens now. They are 6 weeks old now and mama cat doesn't want to be in there with them since they play a lot. It was great for her when she was always nursing. This is a great size kennel. In my opinion, it's sturdy, roomy and large for cats. It was very easy to assemble. It is very heavy for me but I won't be moving it around much. It folds easily. None of the kittens have been able to get out just as long as you secure it properly. The latches are slightly difficult to open but that's no big deal. Actually, since I have been opening and closing one side that particular side has loosened up where the latch opens and closes easily. I don't open the other door much so that side I have noticed is still a bit hard to latch/unlatch. I am still very content with this purchase. It even has room for a litter box.

This crate is so much bigger than expected. I have ordered crates for the dogs before and I would have to say the quality has fallen a bit. The metal is not as sturdy as it has been with crates in the past. The double door placement has also changed. I am not sure if I like that or not. The crate is foldable and portable, but because of the large size not as portable as the 36 inch. This change in size is to be expected. Due to the design, the crate is not really adjustable except for the little puppy spacer, but I would use this crate for a puppy. The appearance is standard and nice. I do recommend this crate.

I purchased the smallest size for my puppy and have now purchased the next size up as he has grown. You can't beat the price and I love the fact that it collapses for easy storage. My dog is pretty small and will only be about 9 lbs when full-grown so these kennels are plenty sturdy enough for him. I'm not sure how they would do for a bigger and stronger dog - the metal isn't as heavy as I've seen on other crates (at least based on the 2 sizes I've purchased). Very pleased with this purchase.

I purchased two of these kennels for my Weimaraner to use. He has one upstairs and downstairs. These are strictly for him to sleep in. If you have a high anxiety dog or one with massive separation anxiety, don’t use this kennel, buy an “indestructible” kennel for your dog if you intend on using one to crate them while your away. For sleeping and chilling, the quality is outstanding. It’s easy to clean and extremely portable for family vacations. Comfort can be enhanced with a cover and a nice dog bed. I highly recommend this kennel for sleep and chilling out, but would not recommend any wire kennel if your dog doesn’t like being away from its humans.

This dog crate is a great purchase and exactly what I was looking for. The 30” size is perfect for my dog, giving enough space to move comfortably without being too big. The metal feels sturdy and well-built, not flimsy like some other crates I’ve tried.
