I found this sound bar on Amazon, and it has been a good choice. It is light-weight and attractive. The sound quality is good; I had been using the tv speakers after my former sound bar stopped working and knew I needed another sound bar right away. It was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. A friend's 30-year-old tech-savvy son installed it for us since the language to connect it to DirecTV was unfamiliar to us. We were able to use a coupon offered by the seller. The only thing we really don't like, but did not change our review for, is that there is no volume display on the tv screen. We like to know the number that we keep the volume on but this is not a critical issue. ... show more

Not bad for the price. Light on the bass. But it's for the guest room, so it is an improvement (only slightly) to the built-in TV speaker. It's 'okay.' Updated 9/14/23: I turned up the volume and I have to say it's not bad. Much fuller than I thought. Remote is still a bit wonky but the sound is pretty good for the price. Nice and deep sound heard while watching an action movie. Totally easy set up. No regrets. ... show more
