I was hesitant to buy this because I ordered another one off Amazon and it was hard as a rock and arrived torn. I have residual trauma after putting my back out stuffing it back in the box to return it, as the seller demanded I send it back although a corner was torn off when it arrived. I would have had to pay $60 for a box big enough. Anyways, about this one: I was unaware this one was memory foam when I ordered it. I thought I just ordered a basic egg crate mattress topper...the spongy kind I have always had. Took this out and let it rise. I am beyond impressed with this thing. So soft, not hard like other memory foam toppers. They could leave the lavender smell out though as I don't care for that but my mattress covers that smell up well. Thanks everyone for your amazing reviews. That is what made me try this one out and it didn't disappoint! Also, those who say it was hot must be sleeping directly on it or only putting a sheet over it. I put my cotton mattress cover and then the sheet over it and no heat issues at all. I've actually slept better than ever before with this thing.

I was mostly worried about the odor. There’s no reason to be; it is not overwhelming or particularly chemical to my nose. It smells like fabric softener. After I left it to inflate for a while, the odor was gone. It is a pleasant color. It arrived in easy to open packaging. No eggcrate is easy to maneuver into alignment, but this one was no worse than any other. I’m happy with the purchase.

Some reviews said there was no lavender scent or that there was a chemical smell. There was a bit of an odd scent over the lavender when I opened it, it dissipated once the pad had fully filled out- I let it set for 48 hours, then used it. Very satisfied with the scent and the comfort level.

I’ve read a little over 30 reviews before buying this thing and y’all convinced me. I suppose I didn’t know what to expect honestly, I was just hoping my back hurt less than it did. I had to come leave a review! Wow !!!! I think i purchased the most uncomfortable bed in the world lol. I was trying my hardest not to toss it and waste my money . I let the pad sit out and expand for about 6 hours and boom !!! I finally got some real sleep ! Everyone is complaining about the smell but me personally i loved it . I purchased this to replace a memory foam topper from a decade ago. It took a bit to break in but once it did, it was exactly what I wanted and needed. It is imperative to let this air out and expanded at least 24 hours prior to use. I am excited to sleep every night now that I have this! No back pain anymore, who knew it was sleep related :-)
