I purchased this to use on an old loveseat and give it some extra support. The topper actually didn't take any time at all to poof up to normal size, so I was able to put it in place immediately. It's not a super dense memory foam, so as others have reported it's nice and soft and you'll sink right into it. Being a lavender connoisseur, I had hoped maybe the scent was reminiscent of actual lavender, but it smells NOTHING like it at all. The smell is like laundry detergent and is a little strong when it's first opened, but it didn't linger for long, especially once covered. It's not a bad smell at all, but I also bought it and expected it to very likely not be actual lavender. Purchased two of these as an alternative to a mattress for an IKEA twin-to-king daybed pull-out type of bed we purchased for our guest room. IKEA suggested their 4 inch mattress to pair with it, but these were way cheaper and way more comfortable. Because of the lack of springs, you do sink to the bottom eventually when you are just on one 4inch topper, but with the two of them you don't. We figured out a solution for when you just have one of the toppers and it was adding a 1.5 inch playtex topper (they are supper firm) underneath this one. Everyone who has slept on that bed says it is so comfortable. My mom stayed the night and slept on it and when she woke up she said it was one of the first times she's woken up without back pain in a long time. Often times you will find my husband or daughter lounging on it in the guest room just be cause it is so comfy. Also, as a hot sleeper I can also attest to the fact that these are cooling. The little holes make a huge difference in keeping you cool. We really really like these and could not have been more pleased. After staying the night, my mom is thinking about getting one for their bed. You won't be disappointed with these, and go for the thickest one you can get your sheets to cover when it is on your bed. It is so worth it. Quality sleep is worth splurging on. Lastly, I got the green tea on and the lavender. I can definitely smell the lavender, not really sure about the green tea. ... show more

Even right out of the package the quality seems to be there, I’ll update my review after a day or two of letting it expand but right off the bat it’s not thin by any means. It is very soft kind of wish I hadn't gotten it so thick because we sink in it and I don't feel that it keeps my spine straight because stomach and butt is heavier than head and neck. I purchased this mattress topper in the summer of 2020 for college. I am now entering my senior year and it still works great. Very durable mattress. I have Ehlers-Danlos (which causes chronic pain and frequent dislocations) and I am fused T3-L2 (severe idiopathic adolescent scoliosis [posterior spinal fusion]) and this mattress topper feels heavenly on my back and shoulder blades. I am a side sleeper and will toss and turn often since I can only be on my side for so long. I cannot sleep on my back due to sleep apnea. This mattress has been a lifesaver for me. I'm only describing my conditions in detail because I want to ensure that if someone experiences these, they can make an informed purchase. This is NOT a super stiff topper. I cannot handle stiff mattresses or hard surfaces. Some people prefer that, so if that's you, this is not the topper for you.
