I’ve never tried a platform bed frame before, but after two nights using this one, I am annoyed I didn’t do it sooner… I had been using a traditional frame with box spring on plastic bed risers… well after being abruptly awoken by my bed crashing through the risers one night, I knew that method wasn’t going to work… so I took the risers off and just dropped the frame down to the normal height… well as time went on I noticed my frame literally bending and my mattress creating a crater size sag in the middle, leaving me to either sleep in a very uncomfortable hole or hold on to the side for dear life, both causing a lot of pain… I wanted to save up for a fancy adjustable bed and a new mattress, but life kept happening and I hadn’t gotten to that level financially, so after tons of research and many many nights of pain I decided to take the gamble on this frame… I should have done this ages ago… $80 and a very simple assembly and now two great nights of sleep on a mattress that is no longer a crater, I am thrilled! Plus I now have more storage space under my bed that I lost when I had to remove the risers, but it’s back now! If you are considering buying this, do it now… don’t be like me and wait till you can barely move due to pain. I feel like I cheated the system with how easy this was and this will definitely work until I can maybe get a fancy bed. :)

The frame is easy to assemble. The only thing that was challenging is the anti-slip pads that are on some of the bars made it difficult to adjust the mattress on the bed frame. I also found out that keeping the paper on the anti-slip pads is easier when opening a rolled up mattress. I kept taking the pads off when trying to remove the plastic. So, keep the paper on the pads until the mattress has been completely untolled and the plastic for the mattress has been discarded. But once I had every thing put togeather and in place the bed works great and the ant-slip pads are a great addition because the mattress doesn't slide a all when I move around. Also, the height for under the bed is very spacious. I'm going to try putting drawers underneath the bed for extra dresser space.

We bought this frame for my son and it was a great buy. We got it when it was on sale. It was very easy to put together, his full-size mattress sits perfectly on the frame and does not slide thanks to the “double sided tape” they give you for a couple of the slats. There is plenty of room underneath to store his baseball items. Definitely recommend this frame!

Once the parts are out of the box you are looking at 20 to 30 minutes to put it together. The critical tools you'll want to have is a 3/16" Allen wrench bit for your drill. The actual size is 5 mm, but 3/16" will do. A rubber hammer helps too. Lay out the parts according to the excellent included drawing and just start bolting the parts together. Hammer the top slats in once it is together and tighten it up. This bed frame is over engineered to do the job perfectly plus some. I'm 6'-3" and even with my size it does not creak, does not move, and it will hold your twin sized mattress perfectly. I bought the 14" high frame to go with a 12" mattress. Perfect combination that fits to a T.

This is easy to put together. It took me a little over an hour, by myself, to assemble it. And I'm a 56 yr old woman, not some young strong-man. If you've put together furniture before, this will be a breeze for you. If you haven't assembled your own furniture, you might take a little more time and still not have any real problems. Everything fit together neatly and I'm pleased with how solid this feels! I was planning on storing four bins under the bed - looks like I might just fit 6 bins!! (Your own storage will depend on the size of the bins you own.) Either way, it's helping me declutter and reorganize my home. My biggest issue now: what in the world do I do with the old box spring I no longer need?! lol It's a good problem to have.

I bought this to use for staging as I thought it would be "easy assembly" but this took me so long to put together - instructions weren't super helpful but eventually got it. There are so many pieces to it. If you just need it for a mattress frame to stay in its place, I am sure its great. It seems like great quality and sturdy! I wouldn't say its an easy assembly or disassemble though! I bought it for the tall legs, and no need for a box spring! Pretty light weight too!

Purchased this bed frame and a mattress for our music teacher who had recently divorced and was sleeping on the floor! Opened the box to see what tools I would need for assembly and allen wrench was included in a neat package with the screws. Everything was labelled and the best part-NO STYROFOAM! I was happy to see that egg carton looking cardboard was used to keep pieces inside from shifting. All packaging could be recycled. My son-in-law had the foresight to bring his drill with allen attachment and the bed went together in about 15 minutes. There were four slats that had a sticky strip to keep a mattress from shifting. They thought of everything! I brought along some felt sticky pieces to put on the feet to keep from scratching the floor and in no time we had a very sturdy bed frame for the mattress. Highly recommend this.
