The non slip girth and underside keep the pad from slipping. The synthetic suede fabric is breathable and easy to care for, simply brush off and wipe up with a damp cloth. The pad is filled with a high density foam padding. At the withers there is additional cushioning. The pad is contoured proving a superior fit. Pockets on the side for added convenience. Choose your favorite color. Size: Horse adjusts approximately from 60 up to 86 Inch Girth extenders are available and can add up to 14 Inch Colors: Black, Tan/Brown Trim, Navy, Hunter Green or Brown/Black Trim and Red This bareback pad does not come with stirrups.

This thing is great. A real workhorse of bareback pads. This is my first bareback pad and originally I wanted a suede one but I think I made a great choice here in terms of value for price. It's grip on my 15.3hh qh (who usually fits a standard QH bar or wide fit western saddle) is great. Cinch has room for him to get fatter tho that's not in our 10 year plan. Cinch fits my more mutton-withered 14.3hh QH, too. Definitely won't fit on the 12hh pony though. Water bottle holder n little pockets are brilliant. Strap up front great for assist in swinging up but doesn't grind on the crotch when you're riding. I got tan and I like the color. Pretty much true to color from the photos. I spent a lot of time shopping around and will be spending many a mile on this thing, and I anticipate it lasting a really, really long time with just basic care ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This pad is AWESOME. Worth every penny. I’ve tried this pad on multiple horses with multiple people of all different sizes. This pad was received well by every single person and horse. No slippage at all even after a sweaty hour of cantering all over the place. The pockets and water bottle holders work perfect for my daughter who regularly rides for hours and loves getting a snack and drink in when she wants them. The pad is also large enough to have an adult and a child sitting comfortably on the pad. I was worried how this would hold up on a thoroughbred with really high withers but my worries were squashed with zero slippage during and after a canter. I absolutely LOVE this bareback pad! It's extremely light & easy to use. The girth that comes with it seemed a little small when I unboxed it, but the straps are generous and I have plenty of extra room for my horse (15.3hh) to fatten up into. The non slip girth and bottom of the pad itself keep it from slipping around. No joke, I think I could ride this thing without the girth if I need to! It's that grippy! The pockets are generous, and while the drink bottle doesn't seem like it'll last for the life of the pad, it's nice to have now and the pocket should fit another bottle easily. My favorite part is the padding inside. It's firm and doesn't shift around. It's not hugely thick, but it's dense enough. And thanks to the generous girth you could put another pad underneath if you needed to. My horse and I agreed: fabulous comfortable ride. This is my favorite bareback pad of all time. ... show more

this is the best bareback pad. it’s so comfortable, lightweight, doesn’t slip without a pad, and the suede material makes it easier for me to stick to the pad while riding. i love this pad, it’s BETTER than riding completely bareback.

We have a small pony. She's to big to be a minature but to small to be considered an average pony size. She is 366lbs. 9.2 hands high. The girth belt is at its highest setting on her at this size. We will probably have to switch the girth belt out for a smaller one so it will fit her. Very nice quality! Will update this review after we have used it for a while. I thought it came with foot stirrups, but it does not. Functional saddle as my kids love riding bareback but this will be more comfortable for the horse and them now! A regular saddle is just too heavy for her. ... show more

Comfy and well made and adds good padding for my high withered horse, but it does slip, even when i tighten it as tight as i can get it. I don't trust it for any long rides out on the trail or any gaits faster than a walk or slow jog. But for a quick slow ride around the barn or pasture it's perfect. I can’t say enough good things about this pad!! It stays in place. It is easy to use. Easy to clean. It has a great price point!!! I looked a several pads and this has the best price. It fit horses perfectly. It’s performance when you ride is great!! It has rubber backing so no slipping back while you ride. It has a nice cinch. I have had other bareback pads and nothing compares to this pad!! It’s made well and not cheap material. I would suggest not to use a bareback pad if you want to hold on to balance yourself to stay on horse, that’s the purpose of a saddle. ... show more
