This pad is awesome! Really a "one size fits most" deal! I have a 15, 3 draft cross mare and we use it on her and 2 other horses at our barn (a OTTB and 14, 3 quarter horse). Can help newer riders with balance and developing your "seat." The non-slip technology make the pad stay where you put it, as opposed to a regular saddle pad. The felt/velvet stuff on the rider side of the pad is comfortable and also contributes to the "non-slippage" of the rider. The pad is also pretty thick, which helps if you have a horse with a bony back. I saved up some gift cards and got this for myself for my birthday. (Best gift ever!) ... show more

Worked great on our first usage - ended up going over 7 miles with no comfortability issues, or sliding around at all. The pad stayed centered and secured the entire time, and allowed for better airflow than some sherpa or fleece lined options. Looks like it will be very easy to clean also. I was unable to find a saddle to fit my 40" pony, so i ordered this as an alternative. Since my pony gives rides to young children, it is perfect. The kids have a handle to hold on and the pony is comfortable.

Simple to fasten, with an English girth. Fits different size horses comfortably. Allows stirrup-less riding without the discomfort that sometimes arises when riding bareback. Also keeps your pants from becoming coated with horsehair. There is a grab strap so riders can steady themselves without denuding the horse's mane. Seems sturdy.
