Tree lights at the top didn't work, but I still love the tree. I added my own lights because the prelit lights weren't enough for me anyways. The flocking wasn't that bad, and I have dark brown carpet so that's saying a lot. I purposely sloped the branches downward so they looked heavy from the "ice & snow." Exactly what I wanted! It's a fuller tree with the tedious sprucing, but I decorated the crap out of it so it's hard to tell ... show more

I had told my husband for years, I wouldn't ever get a fake tree unless it was a $1000 tree. Well, we keep taking vacations with the kids around Christmas and that leaves my sister to come EVERY day to water the tree, so I gave in...I purchased 3 trees around $200. 2 are in boxes ready to send back/take back. This one hasn't really been decorated, but everyone who has seen even pictures of it says it is so gorgeous! We live in Portland, Oregon area and usually cut down nobles. This looks very real - with snow on it! It does make a mess, but who can't vacuum or sweep a little? I thought I would react to the paint/snow, but I haven't - which is superb! I often react to many chemicals of various kinds. I haven't fully decorated it yet, but I wanted to get a picture and review off before I forget and also before Christmas. A beautiful beautiful tree! As a family we have always gotten a real Christmas tree throughout the years. As empty nesters this year, we decided to forego the mess of a real tree and avoid issues with our cat drinking the water. I LOVE IT! The assembly was a breeze and the tree is so well built. The branches simply settle into place with their own little notches. You do not plug the branches into holes (I thought this was the case). Sooo easy. Seriously, a young child could do it. The flocked beauty is wonderful. I've never gone for flocked, but thought it looked elegant so I gave it a try. Terrific choice. It comes pre-lit and you can choose your color scheme as well as blinking/solid options. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate. Also, we purchased the 7 1/2 foot option. Just quaint enough so I didn't have to rearrange furniture, but striking enough that I can't stop looking at it. Merry Christmas everyone!!! ... show more

I've purchased many xmas trees over the years and this one is my favorite by far. The lighting system on the 7.5 ft tree is integrated into the trunk and just snaps automatically in the easy aligned trunk pieces. I really like how the trunk is even wound with branch material and flocked. No bare trunk that needs camoflaging! Once the lights stop working in a few years I'll still use this tree with my own lights. The branches have horizontal shape to them so there is ample room between branches for hanging ornaments to actually hang, not lean against the branches. I also like the overall shape of the tree... it's not cone shaped like shaved trees. The flocking is not skimpy either. Looks like small clumps of snow and is beautifully realistic. For the price, this tree is a big winner. Highly recommend. ... show more
