I ordered 2 and only one box had instructions. Although each box has a set of nuts, bolts, and mostly SKINNY WOOD SCREWS included, instructions are crucial. The wood screws holding most of it together are too small. The instructions correctly suggest to use a drill because there are so many, but even with my battery powered torque restricted (keeps it from over-tightening) drill, it often would make the wood give, meaning, you feel this tiny wood screw breaks some of the threads you're going into. Once assembled, it feels loose and creaks. You cant tighten more without ruining the holes. Its just a very cheap and flimsy wood. Not that the screws are better. My drill would cause the heads of the screws and philips bolt heads to "shave" off the stereotypical cheap quality metal bolts so often used from the parts of the world with the lowest quality control standards. While using a drill to screw in the screws and philips bolt heads, more often than not the heads would make it snow from the bit seemingly drilling into the head. For the price, I predict and hope 2 years of life and I'll be ok with it. I clearly bought this by mistake since I rarely, if ever, buy something this poorly rated on Amazon. My bad, but still...their bad. Definitely not for people over 200lb or planning to keep it more than a year. ... show more

Very nice wooden adirondack folding chairs that came completely disassembled. If you're not good at putting furniture together you might consider choosing a different product. I found the assembly a bit challenging, but I enjoy putting things together. I would not try this without a drill/drive and a good box end 1/2" wrench (the one in the kit sucks). ... show more

The wood is light, which is nice until you try putting it together and realize that is cheap and falling apart. It's very lightly painted and definitely not weather proofed. We were not sure it would even make it through one rain outside, so we did do a return. As you can see in the pictures, it came damaged and only got worse as you tried to assemble. Spend the extra money to get better chairs! ... show more

Entirely too long to put together. The directions said it would take 45mins to assemble. The first chair took me 3 1/2hrs, second chair took 2 hours 45mins. Very tricky tightening the bolts using the mini wrench along with screw driver (that's what took the longest time). I tightened screws as far as it would go without splitting the wood but still seems a little flimsy. Visually they look good, I guess we'll see how well these do. I hope nobody sits down too hard in these (Airbnb). Not sure yet how well these chairs will fair in the weather (in the mountains of California) but reading other reviews it doesn't sound so promising. They were the least expensive Adirondack chairs online so I shouldn't expect much but time will tell. ... show more

It's a miracle, something that requires assembly has parts that are labeled! It is a lot of assembly, but at least you know what you're doing thanks to that. You do need a little muscle to tighten the lock nuts & I used a socket wrench, but muscle helps so you can make sure chair is safe to sit on. The chairs look great too. ... show more

These chairs are the worst quality, POS things I’ve ever bought in my life. The wood is flimsy, the predrilled holes don’t line up the boards aren’t cut correctly and they are very small, they look like kids chairs. They creek just unfolding them. I bet they don’t last a season. I gave them 1 star because if I didn’t give them any stars this review probably wouldn’t show up online. Don’t waste your money on these chairs ... show more

Chair got knocked over by accident and the entire armrest broke off and cannot be repaired-- the seat also cracked upon impact... it wasn't a bad knockover at all, our dog bumped into it by accident. The chair is just SO flimsy and took about 45 minutes to an hour to put together. This chair is CHEAP and light-- it also squeaks every time someone sits in it. These are the WISH version of the chairs that you think you want, do NOT buy these. Spend the extra 40 dollars for the better ones on here, please please please.
