I’ve had this almost 6 months now, and my puppy still uses it every day. It’s sturdy, easy to assemble, and apparently very comfy to lay on and chew sticks. When my dog gets the zoomies in the backyard, he will detour to make a quick jump on his bed, sometimes sit for a second, and then take off again. I did take the canopy part off because he didn’t seem to like going on it when it was attached, but it can be taken off/on very easily. Purchased two of these. One has a leg that keeps popping off but overall it’s good and my dogs like it. Fairly easy to put together and came with a bag which is great for keeping the canopy and poles in when not in use and for travel.

This is an amazing product for fur babies. My shihtzus, 13bs and 25lbs, can both fit comfortably on this raised bed together. My black and white baby is heavier, but the cot easily supports his weight, primarily due to the third leg, strategically placed in the center so it won't poke his belly. It's low enough to the ground so my senior doggies can easily step up and seek relief from the hot ground and bugs. Do NOT ATTACH THE TOP SHADE INDOORS! If you intend to move the unit outside, unless you have a large doorway, the shade will not fit through when completely assembled, so just attach that portion outside. Assembly is a breeze, my husband completed this in less than ten minutes. I coached my doggies onto the cot initially using treats placed in the center of the unit. Now they gladly hop right on whenever we're outdoors hanging out. Your doggies will love this cot!! ... show more

Update: we now have THREE of these. Very easy to put together by myself. Helpful hint, though: when you have the bottom put together and you are trying to get the Velcro to reach its other half on one side, use a rubber mallet to tap every corner together a little tighter. Makes it much easier to Velcro the last side, I think we have had the first one for two years, and it stays out on the lanai in all types of weather. Other than a little fading, it is still holding together very well. The fabric just shows some small spots of wear, but I think the cat sharpens her claws on it, too. I absolutely would recommend. We have two now, and we need a third so there is no fighting over them! LOL they are used everyday out on our lanai. I did need my hubby to help me put it together, but it went quickly. ... show more

BEWARE i bought 2. these are great at first.... the bases last and are durable BUT the coverings are awful and thin. My summers are short june to august so they are only outside for short time after that they are stored inside for cold months. The top part rips and shreds very easy. Ive contacted the seller twice once last after using them for 1-2 summers and they started to rip, I thought maybe they would start selling repl. parts. Then again contacted them today bc they were shredded when i packed them up in September. They refuse to have replacement covers available, I was even willing to purchase them. So once they rip they whole thing is useless so why buy these if you can't replace the ripped part? BUYER BEWARE. unless you want to have to keep rebuying them which I'm not doing from the company again. ... show more

I bought this for an outdoor feral cat in my neighborhood that refuses to go inside anything with walls or anything covered. I am beyond delighted that he took to his little tent right away! The fact that he can see out all four sides is a huge plus. It’s also roomy enough to place a fluffy cat bed and heated blanket inside. My indoor cats also enjoyed testing it out inside the house - I could not get them off of it!
