UPDATE - I called customer service and amazon put me in communication with the seller. They replied within a day and looked into the issue of the missing box. It was shipped separately and they provided the tracking number. The missing box was received next day. If you are not handy, you may want to get somebody that is. The instructions are clear, all the parts labeled but it can be very tedious to put together (I am a mechanic so these things are no problem for me). My husband has zero patience and it was amusing to see him struggle. The key is to have a hex bit and ratcheting tools to make this easier. Some parts will be better for two people to put together. Do not skip instructions and do not take shortcuts. The bed is comfortable and beautiful, well made. I really love it and I hope it lasts under the weather. It even came with a cover. It is an excellent buy and the seller is great! ORIGINAL POST: I just received my order today and only received 2 out of 3 boxes. Just put in a request with customer service and will update once I get resolution.

I love the idea of this daybed, but it was disappointing. It took about 6 hours to put it together, all by allen key. Some pieces did not quite match up and you have to be sure to put sections together loosely and then tighten afterwards. The cushions are slippery and do not attach to the furniture. They move around as you are sitting on them. I tried double sided velcro, but after a storm, it all came off because the cushions are not waterproof. I contacted the company and they did confirm the cushions are not waterproof and said the cover is to protect the bed from weather. But that makes it difficult to use. You cannot just walk out and sit down and enjoy the space. The company also suggested non slip pads under the cushions. I have not had a chance to purchase yet to see if they work. This daybed would be much more enjoyable if it was under a covered space.

First, there were no instructions on how to put it together...we had to go find the instructions online. Second, they are TERRIBLE instructions and hard to follow. Third, most everything has to be together with an Allen wrench...STOP WITH THE ALLEN WRENCH bolts! Fourth assembling it is actually like splitting fruit fly DNA. I built my own house, from the ground up, with my own two hands...and it was EASIER than putting this thing together. It's looks cool, but it's not comfortable to sit or lay on. Save yourself time & energy and get something else. Regret buying!!!!!

Very difficult to put together, time consuming, but worth it. Very comfortable. Purchased for my pool deck. The cushions holds A Lot of water, we are in Florida. I need to try the cover to see if it's water proof or resistant.

First, I saw a daybed at Costco retailing for $1,300. It was one solid piece and slightly bigger than this product but it did not have a canopy . This daybed is a fraction of the price and in my opinion better than the designer choice. There are two common complaints on these reviews that almost made me decide not to purchase this product. I’m glad I didn’t listen. #1 the assembly. Ok these reviews are a bit dramatic. This was not any harder to put together than any other piece of furniture from Amazon (China). Yes it came in three boxes (that’s normal for larger sized furniture) but the seller was kind enough to email me all tracking numbers (without requesting it). Although all my boxes were delivered together. Some of the pieces were not labeled but it’s really not hard to figure out what goes where when looking at the instruction pictures. My husband put most of it together himself and I helped out very minimally. The instructions suggest two people and as with anything help is always better than one. Lastly, this did not take anywhere near 1 day to complete. If this took you 2+ days then you have other problems my friend. You could easily get this done in one afternoon. #2 the sliding cushions. The only reason I gave this a 4 and not 5 star is because I think to make this product perfect would require some Velcro strips. This is an easy problem to solve and we purchased Velcro strips from Amazon to attach the cushions and pillows to the seats, it’s super cheap. Overall this is a great deal, comfortable, and sturdy. Love this in my yard.

The instructions say this takes 2hrs to assemble, we found it to take around 6hrs like others have said. Bolts are misaligned on some pieces or extremely difficult to maneuver. Save yourself and get a good Allen Wrench and Socket Wrench.
