First off I read all the reviews about the set being hard to put together and that the holes didn’t line up. I used a power screwdriver and a hex bit and the table and chairs went together beautifully. It took a little over an hour to put the whole set together myself. My table was bent in transit and I tried to fix it to no avail. I called the company dreading dealing with customer service. Instead, I received wonderful help. They shipped a new table and told me to keep the old one for spare parts. Everything was efficient and the woman was incredibly nice. The table and chairs are beautiful on my deck and look so much more luxurious than the price. I never write reviews but this experience was too exceptional not to rave! ... show more

I was a bit hesitant to order this dining set because so many reviews talked about how hard it was to put together, specifically the chairs, but was attracted to the low cost and high reviews for quality and decided to order. Shipping was very quick and both boxes arrived in excellent condition. Upon opening the box with the table, I noticed that some of the weaving had come on woven on the edge of the table. I went ahead and assembled the chairs and set the table aside. The chairs were a breeze to set up but I equate this 100% to my Allen wrench drill bit and was able to assemble four chairs in less than an hour. I took a picture of the corner of the table and contacted the seller asking if I could return the table top and exchange for a new one. They informed me that unfortunately they didn’t have any table tops in stock but we’re willing to offer me a 25% discount to except the table as is. Our swimming pool was just completed and we are decorating our outdoor space and given the hot Florida summers, wanted some thing that could withstand the weather elements and not completely rust in two years. I replied how grateful I was for their offer, however, I was really hoping for some thing in new condition. They immediately responded stating that they were going to send me an entire new set at no extra cost. While at this point I’ve only have the table 24 hours, I have eaten three meals on it and it is very sturdy and comfortable. I will add that I purchased my own seat cushions because the ones that came with it or not my color choice. ... show more

This is a very nice set. It looks really nice, especially for the price. The only things I would improve on are the chair cushions could be a bit thicker. The chairs were very hallenging to put together. I have put together lots of furniture, and these chairs were among the hardest to assemble.

All of the screw holes are in an awkward position to use an Allen Wrench so it is pretty annoying/slow to put together. Aside from some of the metal framing having rust at the bends, the framing also seemed "warped" 90% of the time. The screw holes rarely lined up forcing me to "bend" the metal frame into place. Since the holes would rarely line up, the screws would not go in at the correct angle causing them to strip half the time if you are not careful (the screws seem to be made with cheap material so they would strip easily). Once everything was together, it LOOKS ok... but the chairs and table legs are not level and rock back and forth due to the warped pieces. The wicker also seems to be loosely woven on some of the chairs so it may come "undone" eventually. Pretty disappointed as the quality does not match the price.. even though the cost is still pretty low compared to other sets. ... show more

    • Great patio set!

After assembly, this set looks great and is very sturdy. Assembly was fairly simple yet time consuming. Some advice on assembly: 1. Use a good allen wrench, preferable a ratchet allen wrench. I can’t imagine putting this together with the itty bitty allen wrench that’s provided. 2. Don’t tighten any of the bolts until the entire thing is together. I’d recommend basically just getting a bite on all the bolts until they are all in. Then, go back and tighten everything. The chairs will bend to form as you tighten the bolts. If you tighten them fully before they’re all in, it will be very difficult to get the remaining bolts to catch. The instructions don’t mention this as they are very dumb. We haven’t used this set yet as I just finished putting it together. Also, my wife left me for our landscaper Todd so I probably won’t be using it for a while until I can find someone to use it with me and who actually loves me. ... show more

    • assembly instructions frustrating

I liked the packaging. Solid, no damage. I thought about my review overnight because my initial reaction would have been reactive. . The instructions were unclear/inadequacy at best-which led to much frustration. The screws and the holes to put the screws in did not line up. The placement of the screws was awkward, the allen wrench difficult to use. My husband eventually made a tool to use the battery screw driver. Short of screws. We had to use a couple we had on hand. Our outdoor wicker 5 piece set does not get much use. I hope the screws do not rip out. The assembly (with me and my husband) of the 4 chairs took 4 1/2 hours. The table went much faster but still the instructions were (again) confusing ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It was pretty tedious to lineup holes but was able to setup. Took more than one to setup. End result was worth it.
