The most important thing to take note of in the instructions for this item is DO NOT tighten the screws before getting them ALL started. The item is wrapped with wicker. That means no lines are perfectly straight. You have to get each chair and the table put together very loosely first, then you have to gradually tighten the screws until you get the job done. If you don't, you will be crying and there will be uneven gaps between the parts. Add to this the fact that the screws and the holes are almost all VERY close to edges and panels that get in the way, and you end up with some frustration. It's not impossible, and the end result is pretty nice, especially for very small spaces, but it wasn't the easiest thing to put together. Additionally, the little hex wrench provided is very poor quality and gets rounded off easily. If you have a better wrench in your toolbox (and most people do have these little hex wrenches), then use that from the start to save some frustration. ... show more

I love the small scale, it works great on my front porch. The chairs are comfortable, and seem sturdy. My only complaint is that it took over an hour to do one chair. The second went a little faster, but not much faster. I had difficulty getting all the bolts into their proper location. Some of the holes were covered by the strapping of the chair, and one of the holes was stripped so I couldn't tighten the bolt into it. Think it will be OK. Still haven't attempted do do the little table. Maybe my son will do it for me. ... show more

I ended up buying this set for a few reasons: Price, Delivery, Other Buyer's images. First of all, great price! If you need a compact seating area without spending a lot, this will work great for you. There are cheaper sets and more expensive sets; this one wasn't the cheapest but it was on the lower priced end, which is why I selected it. Delivery was fast and on time. It came by Fed Ex so I could track it-arrived in 2 days! I was super happy with the FREE Fed Ex delivery. The photos submitted by other Buyer's helped me decide. I really liked the look of this set and since I have a small apartment deck, I thought it would fit great, which it did! How it worked out: Assembly was easy. At most, it took an hour. The instructions are all photos and if you use some common sense, you shouldn't have an issue getting this together. The Allen Wrench that came with it kept slipping out and made it really hard to tighten anything. I have a good set of wrenches and it was a breeze once I used a better-quality wrench so keep that in mind. A good Allen Wrench will help! The color was true to the photos BUT, I absolutely hated it on my deck. It was the same color as our building, and it looked washed out. It just wasn't the look I wanted. I was also disappointed with the comfort which is why I'm suggesting you determine what you want to use this for. My best description is that the chairs have "kitchen-table" comfort. They're fine for sitting straight up on, socializing, eating. But I wanted a chair to relax in, read in, close my eyes and snooze in. This chair doesn't offer that really relaxed comfort. It's a cute set and doesn't look cheap and the colors seem true to the photos. You won't sit back and relax in it but it's not uncomfortable for normal use (just not something I could sit and read in). I didn't want to take it apart and pay for return shipping so I ended up flipping it and sold it for a very minimal loss. Not at all a bad option, just not what I wanted. ... show more

When it was assembled (which was straightforward, took maybe 20 minutes with two people) it turned out to be fine- for smaller adults. My adult children and I found the pieces went together fairly easily, but always had an issue with the last screw. We thought perhaps we tightened the others too quickly and needed to wait for final tightening until all parts were together for each piece? We had that problem with every piece we put together. Pretty, it will do the job, but ---- notice the color difference between the chairs (and table) in one box, and the stools / hassocks in the other order's box. All were ordered as Gray/Navy. The chairs are DEFINITELY DARKER than the stools, which are true to color compared to online colors. It will do for what we need on our small patio, and we may grow to like the bit of contrast. Love this set! It looks great on my balcony, and the pieces seem really sturdy. It took someone who's experienced in putting things together (not me) a little less than an hour to put together. I especially love the fact that you can store things inside the table, other sets I was looking at did not have this option. As others have said, the cushions are a bit thin, but you can always find replacements on line or in stores for decent prices, so I don't think that's a big deal. I would buy again. ... show more
