  • Seems to be working well for two boys
Color: Red
Ordered this one because it would arrive by Christmas (because I procrastinated!). I chose it because it has a metal frame and is rated for 130 lbs, so two reasonable riders won’t crush it. Two boys, 6 and 2, and both fit easily. It is heavy because of the frame but that makes it feel solid. The body looks good, but is quite cheap plastic. We expect things to break off over time. The head and tail lights were a hit. The Bluetooth music is fun for cruising, but it has a very short range (20 feet?). The remote control was truly welcome as the 2 year old cannot yet drive it alone. The remote will override with a full stop, and not allow driving until a button is pressed, which I think is a great feature. However, I noticed that a rider can steer and go at the same time as the remote, so there is no lockout mode when moving. Not a problem, but an inexperienced rider might do unexpected things :) Overall it is working well, holds a charge, and rides and tracks reasonably. Happy with this choice. ... show more

  • Like a rock, only it moves!
Color: White
Ok time for my review after getting this for my little 6 year old girl. The car itself is sturdy, and has a nice little dash that has it's own am/fm stereo that has actually very good sound quality (impressed) that you could even plug in your own micro usb for added playlist. The car is huge! Heavy! Probably 60lbs, so it'll take a little strength moving it around but it does have a carry handle you can drag it. I like that it has a good amount of power in torque so that my daughter can easily drive on grass and uneven surfaces. The remote sucks. I wish it could have been better quality but it does it's job if needed. It didn't work for me so they responded nicely and refunded the difference which was acceptable but still wish they could improve that item. The battery...for some reason is junk. It won't hold as much power as advertised. If you keep it on low speed and drive on flat surfaces, it could go pretty long but any kind of resistance will dramatically reduce it's battery life. They offered to replace it but i declined for now as I do not want to wait and carry that heavy @$$ thing to ship. Other than that honest review, it's great and their service to respond is excellent. Just give it time as they are located in China somewhere and with Covid, could be a little longer. ... show more

  • Reliable and good range
Color: Black
This was a very good buy. The assembly is quite simple. The car looks awesome, and it fits 2 small kids easily. My 2.5yo and 8.5yo both still fit in it. The range is quite good. I never had an issue running out of battery. Usually going for 1 to 2 miles tops. The 3 speeds are quite good as well since you'll be walking next to it, and the top speed is fun for the kids. The remote is easy to use. I wish there was a little softer turning ability as opposed to a sharp turn when pressing a left or right button on the remote. But that's certainly not a show stopper. There is storage in the front trunk so that the kids can bring their favorite toy or stuffy with them. I did follow the instructions regarding battery charging to avoid wearing it, and so far, it's been about a year and it's still going strong. ... show more

  • Engine sparking with burning plastic smell and smoke coming out.
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. We got this in late January 2024 and have barely used it given the cold weather. Just have driven it around the house indoor less than 10 times. I noticed a burning plastic smell last night when we turned it on. When I inspected it we found the left engine is sparking. This is a huge fire hazard. I don't see anywhere customer service guide on this and I am very concern about it catching fire. I dont feel safe for my kids using this car. There doesn't seem to be any customer service to call to address the issue. I like to ask for a replacement for this defective product. Their chat or phone number just go in circle no response. Very poor quality product. ... show more

  • Great car, but needs some upgrades.
Color: Pink
I read about the wheels splitting. So I bought a 4" neoprene glue strip, and some 4" wide sandpaper like strips, and glued them on the wheels. I think the plastic isn't meant to be driven over pebbles, or rough terrain. I tried finding real rubber alternatives, but couldn't find anything that could act like a tire that would prevent the wheels from splitting, and capture the bumps. I also lithium greased the wheel axles with plenty of grease, and put washers between the wheel nuts and motor bearings, as well as on the front, to minimize the wear on the wheels. You can still use the front wheels on the rear (drive axle), and use some standard barrel wheels on the front in case you need replacements. The front axles are just axles. The rear needs that special fitting that connects to the electric motors. All 4 wheels have such connection. Third, I replaced the battery with a lithium battery I originally bought for a UPS system. The 8Ah lithium battery is an upgrade from the stock 7Ah lead acid, in that it provides more power for longer. The battery has a bms that cuts off overvoltage, and charges up fine till 13.30v. Under use, the voltage drops to 12.3v. This car isn't made to run in grass with 2 kids. Doesn't have sufficient power. But it works fine on level ground like asphalt, a tennis court or other... I agree that the remote isn't the best. It's range is about 30-40ft, and the steering and braking motion are abrupt. Releasing the throttle should have just let the vehicle roll to a stop, rather than lock the wheels, and have the kids heads bop to the front windshield. Mak sure their seat belts are adjusted. I found the smallest setting works best for 4-6 years olds. I spray painted the bottom, knowing Chinese products, they have no corrosion protection. You can go expensive, with some real sealant, or go the cheap way with some spray paint or plastidip. It just needs to cover the screws from rusting. I like that the car has a voltage meter built in the radio. It's probably accurate enough for your needs. With the lithium it took about 1 to 2 hours to drop from 13.3 to 12.3v. So about 4 hours of drive time estimated, as the lithium cutoff voltage is around 10v. More or less depending on the speed setting (fast vs slow). For a 4 to 5 year old, the slow setting works fine, and the fast setting will scare the child. ... show more
