Description

This item consists of two (2) clamps. The Bessey face frame cabinetry clamp is designed to combine the multiple steps of face frame cabinet installation into one easy process. It works on stiles up to 1-1/4 in. thick and has a clamp capacity of 4 in. The design of this clamp allows you to tighten, align, pre- drill and fasten the cabinet stile, all while the clamp is in place. The clamp holds the individual cabinet edges together while keeping the faces along the joint flush. Drill your pilot hole using the integrated pilot-hole drilling guide located on the clamp side. Then simply flip the guide out of the way to drive your screws in to connect the cabinet frames. There is no need to remove or reposition the clamp! Professional quality installation is achieved in a fraction of the time compared to the use of more conventional clamps. This heavy-duty clamp is made primarily of steel, with steel sliding T-bars and an aluminum alignment plate. It comes with 3 non-marring felt pads for the clamp faces and alingment plate to protect and cushion the points of contact on your cabinets.

Work great in place of grip clamps! The felt pads only offer so much protection so be careful because they can and will dent the face of the stile if overtightened.

    • Did the job, but damaged our cabinets.
One of the clamps did an excellent job of bringing the face fames together and making our install easy. The other clamp, though assembled in the same manner as the first, was faulty and severely scratched the face frame of the first cabinet box we used it on. The screw in the center of the clamp pierced through the felt and scratched the wood below. Although we were able to get the job done with only one clamp, I am Disappointed that only half the order worked for its purpose ... show more

Clamp them too tight and the clamp tend to leave tiny dimples in the wood, it’s more evident on painted wood. FWIW- the dimples are tiny. Overall, I would recommend the product. It worked great!

Installed my new cabinets and this jig was great to aligh face frames. It also has a space that allows you to drill holes through the clamp and have the frames anchored before you remove the clamp.

    • Perfect for installing face frame cabinets
Great little clamp that makes installing face frame cabinets really easy. Forces the faces to be flush and holds it tight. For years I just used a couple kwik grips but these make the job a lot easier. Comes with a foam pad so the faces and edges don’t get marred.

I bought these after seeing countless recommendations on YouTube and I was disappointed I ordered a bunch of custom cabinets for my kitchen and didn't use these nearest often as I expected. So that's one strike. But that's my fault add on top of that, the fact that the foam pad on the face clamp is too thin, allowing the screw that holds it in place to dimple the face frame and that strike two. I ended up using a small piece of a shim to put in there so I wouldn't damage the face of my cabinets when using it. It didn't get a third strike and I really liked the drill guide. I guess I really didn't see much difference in just using some squeeze clamps. As long as your cabinets are plum and level to each other aligning the face frames really isn't that much of a problem. ... show more

I purchased these for a kitchen remodel I just completed. They worked great and definitely made the installation go quicker and smoother. Sure you can get cabinets aligned without these tools but being able to clamp them flat along the face and together at the same time fairly quickly was a huge help. They’re not perfect by any stretch but they definitely help and I think they’re worth the money. If you’re going to be using them every day like a contractor I’d recommend getting some extra felt for them to not scratch the cabinets. For my single kitchen with about 20 cabinets I didn’t see any issues with the felt though. ... show more
