I got this as an extra paddle for paddleboarding. I was curious about its ability to covert into a kayak paddle because sometimes the water is too choppy to stand on a paddleboard. Also, sometimes it can be fun to mix it up and paddle more efficiently with the kayak paddle. One thing immediately noticeable is that there's an obvious weight difference between this aluminum paddle and the carbon paddle that came with my paddleboard. The aluminum one is heavier. The paddle end doesn't flex too much and so I think it's an efficient paddle. The other thing I noticed about this paddle is that it doesn't have fixed stops for height adjustment, but rather it allows for adjustment to a very precise height because the locking mechanism just tightens to hold the exact position you want.     • Great adjustable paddle
I use this paddle for my kayak. You can make it into a double ended paddle for kayaking, or you can convert it into a single paddle with a grip handle on the other end. The length is adjustable and it is comfortable.
