We bought 2 of the ROC SUPs and couldn't be more pleased and impressed. They are very well constructed, look and handle great, and come with many accessories, including a backpack, pump, dry pack, adjustable paddle (incl both straight and kayak), leash and detachable main fin. They are quite stable on the water and the paddle length is easy to adjust when moving from knees to standing. I love how everything fits into the backpack, making them easy to transport in a car. The bungies across the front have been quite handy for sandals, water, PFD, etc. Getting everything into the backpack can be tricky but it does all fit. The backpack is of much higher quality and comfort than I expected at this price point. My only suggestion is that the backpack should be about 1 inch longer as it seems to be the exact same length as the widest point of the board. No matter how you roll or fold the deflated board, it is a super tight squeeze getting in into the back without feeling like the bag is being stressed at the ends. I've done it 4 times and it never gets any easier. The only minor issue I've had with one of the boards is that a small section of the neoprene in the back corner is not attached to the board. I'm guessing it's nothing that a simple glue repair can't fix but it hasn't hindered use or performance in any way. Pumping up the board with the included pump is quite a workout in itself! After a couple of times pumping by hand, I bought an electric pump. I would highly recommend this, especially if you have more than one board to pump up. Unfortunately the one I chose (AILCION) started smoking and died after 3 minutes so I'm back to pumping by hand until I decide on another brand. I’m not super experienced with paddle boarding, so my review is for the beginners! I think it’d be great for anyone looking for a low key easy ride and someone on a budget. I’ve looked all over for a more affordable board that isn’t terrible quality, and landed on this one based on reviews within my price range. Overall, great quality! The reviews were right. I inflated it the night I got it, and it’s really thick and sturdy. Super light weight when inflated, too. So thats great for walking far with it. It’s also easy to deflate and get packed back up. The paddle seems great, was actually one of the selling points for me. However- the handle could be tougher plastic, seems kinda cheapy compared to the rest of the paddle. And tightening the paddle to the correct height for me was a little wonky. Might need an additional tool to get it tightened. Unfortunately, read that the paddle won’t float long if you happen to drop it, too… so that kinda sucks. But it won’t sink immediately. And I feel like it’ll stay afloat long enough to retrieve. Everything fits in the bag, including my pump and fin and extra attachment for a kayak paddle. So that’s awesome! However- it’s a tight squeeze, and the bag doesn’t seem like it’ll last forever. So it’s a risk to pack it tightly because it seems like it could tear once it’s weakened. It’s very comfy for carrying far, though. Thick straps and back support. So, huge bonus points for that. Overall, it’s a great board that doesn’t break the bank! I’d say it’s worth it if you aren’t looking for a lifetime purchase and plan to not be out everyday on it or something.
