Jim's wife here...I have been searching for an inflatable paddle board for quite some time. I was looking for something that was affordable, durable, could hold a significant amount of weight, and was easily portable/compactable. I finally, after deliberating for a year, decided to give Skatinger a try. I purchased the pink version of this board and loved it so much that after having it for two days I came back to Amazon to purchase the blue one. These boards are beautiful and better than what I was expecting for the price point. Airing them up: The process is easy until you get to the very end to push to the suggested PSI. I could do it, but it was exhausting. I tapped in my 16 year old son to help out. The second time I aired them up I learned my lesson and used our compressor to air them up most the way then used the included pump to tap them off. I will be purchasing a portable electric pump with a PSI gauge for the future. Usage: These are great if you need the extra width and ability to carry a heavier load. I was able to fit myself, my 9 year old, and my 30 lb dog on the board without issue. The board feels stable and moves through the water easily. The bag loaded with all the equipment is also easy to carry and not too heavy. I am 5'1" and carried it without any issues. Deflating: deflating was a breeze. I just released the cap and then when most the air was out I used the included pump to get the rest of the air out. Storage: Everything fits in the bag! This is a huge win. I knew in order to sell my husband on these I needed to find a board that did not take up much garage and boat space. I love that everything fits into one bag. Overall I am extremely happy with my decision to purchase two of the Skatinger boards and would recommend them to anyone looking for the same features that I was. ... show more

BUY THIS PADDLEBOARD!! As someone who meticulously researched all the paddle boards out there, I can tell you THIS IS THE ONE YOU NEED! I had several criteria I was looking for... it had to be big enough to fit me and my daughter (or me and another adult), good for beginners, easy to use, easy to carry (I'm a tiny woman), visually appealing, durable, stable, and affordable! This checks ALL the boxes!! I love that it also came with a phone case and bag to keep things dry! I also recommend you buy an electric air pump for fast and easy inflation! One of the best Inflatable paddle boards I’ve ever owned inflates in a few minutes and can deflate in seconds very easy to clean and maintain the Scaggs come off very easily and the paddle Is easily adjustable to any height. Board is wide enough to accommodate any size and very easy to maneuver. Even when it’s inflated, it is still very lightweight. As first-time inflatable SUP users, my partner and I were looking for something stable enough to hold both of us. The Skatinger Octopus 11 is 11'x34'' extra wide and has exceeded our expectations! The extra width of this board is a game-changer, and it felt incredibly stable in the water. It may be not as fast but we were more frilled with not falling from it by having this extra support. We used the included pump to inflate the SUP, and we were impressed with how sturdy it became. Moving this board around the water was a breeze, offering excellent mobility for first-timers like us. We even got several compliments on the fun, vibrant design! It all comes with handy duffel/backpack bag so very easy to deflate and put all into very small package so when we grow to second SUP we still would have plenty of space left. in the car for other outing essentials. One advice - get an electric pump, it makes it super easy to inflate and deflate the board while you chill with a cold brew after good time on a water! Paddle boarding has become one of our favorite family activities. The Skatinger board is big enough and stable enough to have an adult plus two small children , which allows us to take the whole family out on a trip. The board is very comfortable to stand on and the paddle is comfortable in your hands and makes an effective stroke in the water. My daughter and I love this board. Large enough for both of us (5'9" 180# mom and 5'5" 100# preteen) as well as whatever we need to take along for the day. Easy to inflate as well as repack after use. Very stable for yoga or just cruising around the lake. Great material inflated it is super rigid and sturdy while being lightweight and easy to transport. I have had difficulty with getting back on other smaller boards and with this board am able to get back on fairly easily in deep water. Great purchase. Would recommend 100%. ... show more

Bought after tired of lugging a kayak around to the lake and wanting to put 2 toddlers on it with me (with lifejackets). This thing is perfect for the 3 of us to scoot around the lake and explore the area. I love the carrying bag it comes with as it keeps everything organized. Super stable, and pretty quick once you get it going. We like to use it as a diving platform to jump off and get back on. Great colors and great price. I've used this board about three times so far. It does take a long time to inflate but it's super portable and everything seems to be in working order. The board is a durable material and didn't puncture from my dogs paws. It also deflates and packs up well!
