Jim's wife here...I have been searching for an inflatable paddle board for quite some time. I was looking for something that was affordable, durable, could hold a significant amount of weight, and was easily portable/compactable. I finally, after deliberating for a year, decided to give Skatinger a try. I purchased the pink version of this board and loved it so much that after having it for two days I came back to Amazon to purchase the blue one. These boards are beautiful and better than what I was expecting for the price point. Airing them up: The process is easy until you get to the very end to push to the suggested PSI. I could do it, but it was exhausting. I tapped in my 16 year old son to help out. The second time I aired them up I learned my lesson and used our compressor to air them up most the way then used the included pump to tap them off. I will be purchasing a portable electric pump with a PSI gauge for the future. Usage: These are great if you need the extra width and ability to carry a heavier load. I was able to fit myself, my 9 year old, and my 30 lb dog on the board without issue. The board feels stable and moves through the water easily. The bag loaded with all the equipment is also easy to carry and not too heavy. I am 5'1" and carried it without any issues. Deflating: deflating was a breeze. I just released the cap and then when most the air was out I used the included pump to get the rest of the air out. Storage: Everything fits in the bag! This is a huge win. I knew in order to sell my husband on these I needed to find a board that did not take up much garage and boat space. I love that everything fits into one bag. Overall I am extremely happy with my decision to purchase two of the Skatinger boards and would recommend them to anyone looking for the same features that I was.

As first-time inflatable SUP users, my partner and I were looking for something stable enough to hold both of us. The Skatinger Octopus 11 is 11'x34'' extra wide and has exceeded our expectations! The extra width of this board is a game-changer, and it felt incredibly stable in the water. It may be not as fast but we were more frilled with not falling from it by having this extra support. We used the included pump to inflate the SUP, and we were impressed with how sturdy it became. Moving this board around the water was a breeze, offering excellent mobility for first-timers like us. We even got several compliments on the fun, vibrant design! It all comes with handy duffel/backpack bag so very easy to deflate and put all into very small package so when we grow to second SUP we still would have plenty of space left. in the car for other outing essentials. One advice - get an electric pump, it makes it super easy to inflate and deflate the board while you chill with a cold brew after good time on a water! If you're looking for a super-stable and fun way to enjoy the water with a partner, family, or even a furry friend, this inflatable SUP from Skatinger is a fantastic option.

I already owned three paddle boards before buying this one - a standard "hard" board, a surf hard board, and a 30' inch wide inflatable. Unfortunately, none of the three were stable enough for me to paddle with my water-loving 65-pound redbone coonhound. So I decided I needed another option, and after extensive research, I opted for this extra-wide Skatinger. Despite many positive reviews, I still wasn't sure it would add enough stability for the two of us, since it was only a foot longer and a few inches wider than the inflatable I already owned. My concerns were totally unfounded. This board is more stable than any board I've every paddled with - noticably better. It feels much bigger and wider. Better yet, despite the large size of the board, it remains light, reasonably quick in the water, and highly maneuverable. I've used it in the open ocean, sheltered harbors, and rivers. I love it, and the hound does too. The materials are high quality and strong, and I expect it to last a long time. I highly recommend this board for tandem paddling, paddling with a dog or cargo, or for an individual who wants an extra-stable ride. Fantastic value!

I'm 6'2" and ~210 pounds. I wanted a stable paddleboard with plenty of modularity. This paddleboard is perfect. I cross-shopped $500-$1200 paddleboards and I don't think any of them would have come close to the flexibility this one offers. When I say flexibility, I mean the number of bungees, handles, and attachment points. They don't get in the way or detract from the experience at all, but they make it so convenient to carry a cooler, strap your paddle to the board, carry life jacket, hat, sandals, etc. I bought some clips for my paddle and I love that I can attach it to the board when I want to jump off and swim (rather than just hope it doesn't fall off). On top of all this, it is extremely stable for bigger riders. I stand up on this thing and paddle in boat wake with little issue. It works for two people as well. Lastly, I thought it would be really slow, but it actually is quite fast for what it is. The bag is good quality, and I love the multiple accessories they give like the multiple dry bags. All in all, it's a really solid board and hard to beat if you are looking for a do-it-all SUP.
