Jim's wife here...I have been searching for an inflatable paddle board for quite some time. I was looking for something that was affordable, durable, could hold a significant amount of weight, and was easily portable/compactable. I finally, after deliberating for a year, decided to give Skatinger a try. I purchased the pink version of this board and loved it so much that after having it for two days I came back to Amazon to purchase the blue one. These boards are beautiful and better than what I was expecting for the price point. Airing them up: The process is easy until you get to the very end to push to the suggested PSI. I could do it, but it was exhausting. I tapped in my 16 year old son to help out. The second time I aired them up I learned my lesson and used our compressor to air them up most the way then used the included pump to tap them off. I will be purchasing a portable electric pump with a PSI gauge for the future. Usage: These are great if you need the extra width and ability to carry a heavier load. I was able to fit myself, my 9 year old, and my 30 lb dog on the board without issue. The board feels stable and moves through the water easily. The bag loaded with all the equipment is also easy to carry and not too heavy. I am 5'1" and carried it without any issues. Deflating: deflating was a breeze. I just released the cap and then when most the air was out I used the included pump to get the rest of the air out. Storage: Everything fits in the bag! This is a huge win. I knew in order to sell my husband on these I needed to find a board that did not take up much garage and boat space. I love that everything fits into one bag. Overall I am extremely happy with my decision to purchase two of the Skatinger boards and would recommend them to anyone looking for the same features that I was.

I’m very happy with this paddleboard! It is sturdy and spacious enough for two adults to sit comfortably, even with a small pet. There is also plenty of room for a cooler and a few bags, which makes it great for a longer day on the water. Inflating it was easier than I expected. My husband can inflate it in about 5 minutes, while it takes me around 15 minutes because I’m much more relaxed and less athletic. Still, it’s very manageable to inflate by myself. Folding it back up and getting it into the bag is not difficult at all. The bag has enough room for the pump and two paddles, which makes everything convenient to store and transport. At 128 lbs, I can carry the bag by myself without finding it too heavy. And the color is beautiful—it looks nice out on the water and with the scenery.

As first-time inflatable SUP users, my partner and I were looking for something stable enough to hold both of us. The Skatinger Octopus 11 is 11'x34'' extra wide and has exceeded our expectations! The extra width of this board is a game-changer, and it felt incredibly stable in the water. It may be not as fast but we were more frilled with not falling from it by having this extra support. We used the included pump to inflate the SUP, and we were impressed with how sturdy it became. Moving this board around the water was a breeze, offering excellent mobility for first-timers like us. We even got several compliments on the fun, vibrant design! It all comes with handy duffel/backpack bag so very easy to deflate and put all into very small package so when we grow to second SUP we still would have plenty of space left. in the car for other outing essentials. One advice - get an electric pump, it makes it super easy to inflate and deflate the board while you chill with a cold brew after good time on a water! If you're looking for a super-stable and fun way to enjoy the water with a partner, family, or even a furry friend, this inflatable SUP from Skatinger is a fantastic option.

I’m a novice when it comes to standup paddle boarding but I was tired of shelling out $40 per rental. It was time to invest in my own paddle board, and Skatinger fit the bill. As a newbie, I wanted something reliable and easy to transport and store. After I got the delivery, which came in a nice box with two reinforced sides to prevent you for accidentally slicing through the board itself, I was able to put everything in its bag and take it to a body of water nearby. I also invested in an electric pump based on what I read elsewhere, and the instructions were easy to follow. In about five minutes I was able to inflate the board to its recommended PSI reading. I attached the fin (it took me 50 seconds to realize that the screw inside is on a slider and it can be moved). Then I was ready to go. I hand carried it to the water from the parking lot, no issues there. The virgin voyage was extremely pleasant, albeit a bit windy. The board withstood the wind and the moderate waves quite well. The deflation process was very easy as well, it’s a matter of pushing all the air out and then rolling the board up for packing. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and I’d recommend it to others as well. It makes taking up the sport quite easy. Conclusion: completely satisfied, works as advertised, easy to inflate and deflate, easy to carry and transport in its own bag.

This is the second summer with this board now and I absolutely love it. We have been taking it almost every weekend and it holds up so well. The shoulder strap makes it so much easier to carry around and the carrying bad is a great size and sturdy. The colors stick out very well. Overall just a great product. When my family started to get into paddle boarding most of us invested into this brand specifically, and out of 6 none of them have had any trouble. In comparison my son picked a fun water instead and the fin part isn’t as sturdy.

We got this stand up paddle board to use specifically in the ocean in South Florida with our 2 kids age 11 & 13. We have been visiting grandma for years now and this was the best addition to our beach toy collection! Over the years we have collected snorkel gear, inflatable kayaks, surf boards, body boards and skim boards, but this was the most fun ever! We've used in individually and doubled up to just cruz around, we've taken it out to the reefs that are accessible from shore, we've surfed small waves with it, and we've spent hours trying to get all 4 of us standing at the same time, only to tip over laughing and try again. It is very stable, hold all 4 of our weigh without sinking, but is not so giant that it is awkward or clunky. The backpack makes it super easy to carry and it inflates and deflated with no trouble. I would highly recommend this board for anyone looking to add a little fun in so many ways to their beach days!

The board is great. It's very wide which is great for having my kids on with me. But the pump it came with was immediately defective. Really didn't want to have to return the whole thing when just the pump needed to be replaced. Also disappointed the dry bag it came with does not look like the one in the picture, it's just plain all black.

I'm 6'2" and ~210 pounds. I wanted a stable paddleboard with plenty of modularity. This paddleboard is perfect. I cross-shopped $500-$1200 paddleboards and I don't think any of them would have come close to the flexibility this one offers. When I say flexibility, I mean the number of bungees, handles, and attachment points. They don't get in the way or detract from the experience at all, but they make it so convenient to carry a cooler, strap your paddle to the board, carry life jacket, hat, sandals, etc. I bought some clips for my paddle and I love that I can attach it to the board when I want to jump off and swim (rather than just hope it doesn't fall off). On top of all this, it is extremely stable for bigger riders. I stand up on this thing and paddle in boat wake with little issue. It works for two people as well. Lastly, I thought it would be really slow, but it actually is quite fast for what it is. The bag is good quality, and I love the multiple accessories they give like the multiple dry bags. All in all, it's a really solid board and hard to beat if you are looking for a do-it-all SUP.
