I haven’t been this pleased with a purchase in a looong time. After looking through laptop risers for quite a while most of the ones that I saw that were capable of adding a foot or more of height were in the $50-80 range and most had designs that I didn’t feel would hold up in the long run. When I saw this design was about half the price and looked like a simple but sturdy build I decided to give it a shot. It arrived quicker than expected and I could instantly tell it was indeed a sturdy build. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble and it takes less than a minutes to adjust the height. Even though it can be adjusted to quite a height it still feels pretty stable (I was afraid it would be too heavy and easily knocked over) with my 17” laptop on it. As you can see in the picture I have it on a slightly elevated desk organizer but even without this it provides quite a bit of height and will be adequate for most people at or below 6’ of height. I got this stand because I needed a higher stand to make my computer level with my monitors and this was perfect. Its high-quality, easy to put together, and very sturdy. I have a large dell computer which is on the heavier side and the larger side of laptops and the stand handles it perfectly.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but had to give this one 5 stars. I actually thought this was going to be hard plastic for the price, but it’s actually metal and very solid. I am more than pleased with it.

This unit is a lot sturdier and heavy than it has any right to be at this price-point. I am currently using two laptops - one for work and one for non-work and this works perfectly to minimize the deskspace I need since I can put one laptop under the other and simply plug my large monitor, keyboard, and mouse into whichever one I'm using at the moment

This is easy to put together. Allows me to have more space on my desk. It does not bend on the top. How it looks is how it stays. My only issue was that on the bottom the screws didn’t seem very flush so then, it comes off unsteady but it doesn’t move. I’m glad I can put my keyboard on the base and enjoy the space.
