This bag looks not just sturdy but very sturdy. The stitching is even and tight. There’s an outside zippered pocket and 2 inside pockets one of which is zippered and the other, useful for cell phone or small wallet. Additionally, it has 2 pen holders. Though the leather is not extremely soft, it seems to be high quality and has the wonderful leather scent. Furthermore, this German company is very proud of their vegetable tanning process and it shows. Whether it be cars, cutlery, or machinery, the German quality always shines through and this bag is no exception.

I was looking for a small side bag to carry things that don't fit in my pocket, and this one is perfect. It's made with high quality leather that looks and feels really nice. It's a very sturdy construction and all components (zippers, shoulder strap, etc) seem really well put together. It's big enough to hold a lot of small things, but not too big to feel awkward carrying around for long periods of time. The color and styling are great. I definitely recommend!

This bag is a nice addition to my rotation. I love a tote like this because I can carry my eReader plus all my necessities without weighing me down. However, this bag doesn't hold quite as much as my other Berliner bag (the shoulder/armpit bag). The leather is tight and could use some softening to make using the zipper a little less of a challenge, even when the bag is empty. This bag is stiff, even the strap. But I love it!
