I burned up a smaller cable like this from a site that sells 3d printer parts, and it would have been fine for most 3d printers but I ended up using it with a . The reflow oven burned up the contact end of the first cable so I replaced it with this one and it's been fine since then. My guess is it has around 12A going through it at 120V AC. ... show more

I purchased a handful of these to wire up some (LED panel) light fixtures that fit in a drop ceiling. Everything went well. Everything about these power cords is well made. The multi-strand wires are copper and appear to be 16 gauge as advertised. The individual wire covers and the outer cover are all of adequate thickness and strength, and the bonding between the outer cover and the plug is good. Was converting a garbage disposer from a hard-wired switch - no plugs involved - to a countertop-mounted pressure switch with an outlet for the switch, and then an outlet for the disposer cord. Look around and saw this met both the gauge I wanted and the price seemed really good. Got it, installed it, and it works perfectly. I might get a few more because my power tools are worked hard and the cords slowly wear out - I still like the 120v tools over battery ones. These would be ideal and the definitely are not as cheaply made as suggested by the cheap price. ... show more

This is a excellent power cord replacement! It is a 14/3, not the more common 16/3. It's not quite the best top quality sheathing, but it's not the shiny, stiff, horrible vinyl. It's pretty darn good. You might not like the 6' length, but I prefer the shorter run and then add the extension I actually need. And this was less than $6 and on Prime!! I used this for a gas tankless water heater. It’s an outdoor unit and I wired an outlet directly on the inside of the basement of where it’s installed. Decided to run this in conduit for protection and it works perfectly.

As a replacement for my pool pump motor cord, it’s the perfect size, 14-3 and works perfect. Not cheaply made, but sturdy and it appears it will last for years to come.

Length and gauge is accurate, quality is typical for average power cord, no complaints. Wires can be soldered no problem so it seems to be good quality copper not aluminum.
