My Yorkie loves to play and she loves challenges and trying to work a ball out of a pouch for example. She loves this toy and gets so excited when I bring it out but she only plays with it for a while. She loses interest after it just rolls around. My dog loves this ball and will carry it around with her. BUT you have to make sure it screws together well. It’s easy to cross thread. Or not screw together properly and then it’s easy for the dog to chew the inside. We are on our third ball in around three months. They are not for heavy chewers. Our girls is a heavy chewer and we have to take it off her at times. But she loves this smart ball and the lights and sounds. ... show more

    • Same problem as other balls of this type. Can't unscrew it.
I gave up with these toys. Bought them and had to replace them several times because they would tighten themselves to the point where I could not open them up to charge the battery inside. Each time I carefully closed it just enough to be sure it wouldn't tighten down. And over and over again they got too tight. Once my son was able to open it. And the other times with this one and another toy just like it, I had to send them back and get them replaced by Amazon because we just couldn't unscrew it. Even though one time I even put Wd40 on it before I closed it, to be sure it wouldn't tighten down. I finally gave up and threw away about 3 of them. We can’t keep the vibrating color changing ball away from our Pomeranian! Just wish it had a “pickup” point so she could carry it! Also it had a bad habit of migrating under furniture so we get as much exercise as our dog!

I love this idea and wanted something interactive for my new rescue blue heeler mix. She was scared of it so I passed it along to my best friend who has a boxer mix and 3 cats. All of them were scared of it too. She gave it back and I brought it to my parents house where there were 5 dogs total and only then did one dog like the toy for a second. This is a really cute little toy; however, it's too small for my active German Shepherd. It lights up and rolls on the hardwood floor, but he picks it up with this mouth, and then the fun is over. This is the cutest toy for my puppy. She loves it. It's small so not a good toy for bigger dogs. Charges quickly and lasts a long time.
