Description
The light usually flashes when Halo’s power supply (output is less than 5V/1.3A) is insufficient. Please change to another USB port of devices or USB adapter in which the power supply with an output voltage of at least 5V and a current of 1.3A or above. We recommend using a power supply with an output voltage of 5V and a current of 1.5A or above to optimize the lamp’s light. If you are unsure about the output information of your USB devices, we recommend using a USB adapter on ScreenBar Halo directly. And before using a USB adapter, please have a look at your USB adapter specification for output information. You can find related output information shown on the USB adapter below: OUTPUT: 5V ⎓ 1.5A Please DO NOT use the USB extension cable for ScreenBar Halo. It will cause light flashes or abnormal operations as well.ScreenBar Plus is a revolutionary lighting system. Simply hang it on your monitor to light up your desk without taking up any valuable space. The Desktop Dial makes the use even easier. With automatic dimming and asymmetric optical design, ScreenBar Plus illuminates the working space with just USB power, avoiding reflective glare off your computer screen. Slick, clean, office working, editing, designing, home office.

Great table light! Pick the Plus version versus the standard one
Color: Silver
What I like about the ScreenBarPlus: 1. Space-saving top clamp design compared to other traditional tabletop lights. 2. Easy installation. It fits almost all morgen monitor types. Rest it on the top of your monitor, plug in the usb cable and you are ready to go. 3. Ease of use. A true plug and play device. The control dial is dummy-proof. 4. Design. It's a great product with both aesthetics and function. The projection angle prevents light from emitting directly onto the screen and eyes. I have a bad habit of arc my back and lean forward towards the screen. You can setup the monitor/light at the right height so that the light covers a specific zone, if my posture is out of the place, the light can shine directly towards my eyes... the hidden benefit is the light becomes a posture remidnder! ScreenBar vs ScreenBarPlus It's all about the user experience really. If you just want to spend $100 for an awesome looking, space-saving light, don't really care about all the other functions or share the work space -> go get your regular ScreenBar, plug in and forget about it. Note: the automatic adjustment on the standard version only works when booting up or by pressing the auto touchbutton. After numerous attempts by shooting different light source at the auto sensor, it never "automatically" adjust the color or the brightness to neither the temperature nor the brightness extreme ends. And trust me, you won't want to change the temperature or brightness regularly. It just takes too much guess ok the 15 stage color temperature or brightness. However, if you share your workstation like my wife and I, we want more, constant adjustability. I like cooler color and she prefers warmer. Why not. We like the auto function but find us constantly changing the color temperature and brightness. The auto function just doesn’t cut it for usz this having the physical dial included in the ScreenBar Plus version is a MUST and makes it soooo much more convenient than the inductive buttons on the standard version. Plus, with only $20 bucks more, we think it’s a lot more you can get out of this package than just another beautiful and expensive light... did I just say it's cheaper to pay more? I am slowly loosing my mind over this COVID-19 WFH. It was a struggle for us to pick which one to go with and the above is our verdic. Hope it will help you make up your decisions too! Be safe

Finally!! The Perfect Monitor Light! (For ME, Anyway...)
Color: Silver
I have searched long and hard for a monitor light that does not take up space on my desk! As you can see in the included photos, I have all sorts of knick knacks and anime figures that I like to display, so that leaves little room for a desk lamp. This thing is the perfect answer to my prayers! It is extremely bright, lighting up most of my entire huge desk evenly and nicely. It comes with a great puck shaped lighting control that offers different types of lighting based on what you need be it reading, etc. Let's get the elephant in the room out of the way right now: yes, this light is pricey at $130 with the included puck light control and $100 without it, but take my advice: if you are considering this lamp, spend the extra 30 bucks to get it with the light control. It does indeed make a difference when changing light settings and just turning it off and on. You don't NEED the light puck of course, but the added convenience once you start using it will make it worth it! Trust me on this! The lamp sits perfectly atop my 27 inch iMac, and does NOT interfere with the Face Time camera at all, indeed, it makes Face Timing a joy with the even lighting all the way across. Bottom line: BenQ hit a HOME RUN with this lamp! It is wonderful in so many ways. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Sits nicely on the LG 27MD5KB-B connected to my MacBook Pro. Light works flawlessly!
Color: Silver
My office has blackout blinds and I have very dim blue lighting in the room to keep the mood cool. I ran into two challenges which led me to purchasing this light over anything else. My company is now using Zoom for conferencing and encourages everyone to join on video. With my room being dark and the ceiling light having a dim blue bulb, no one could see me. The other challenge is I started watching training videos and want to take hand written notes in a notebook. It's not enjoyable doing this in the dark and it's impossible to read my notes or even read a book. I needed something.. I first saw a review for the BenQ desk lamp which people praised but I did not want a lamp taking up desk space. Then I saw the link for this one, the BenQ e-Reading that sits on your monitor, and decided to order it. I have no regrets. It's well worth the price. I purchased the version with the dial which allows you to turn the light on and off, adjust brightness, adjust temperature, and toggle auto-adjust on/off where the light sets the temperature automatically based on the room. The censor for this is on the dial. The light itself does everything I want. It provides plenty of light for video calls on my Mac or when reading books or taking notes. It can be rotated to make sure the light is not shining or reflecting off the monitor screen, only emitting away from the monitor. The counterweight the light bar snaps into lets you adjust the exact position of it sits on the top of the monitor. By default when you set it on top of the LG monitor it looks like it's barely covering the LG's camera, but I was able to make the adjustment so it now sits above the camera and does not get in the way. I have a small non-powered Belkin USB-C hub connected to one of the USB-C ports on the back of the LG. The Blekin has two USB-C and two regular USB ports. The BenQ connect to the Belkin which provides power. The whole package, dial included, looks elegant and feels sturdy. This was the magic bullet that solved my problem and I'm very happy with it. I would recommend it over a desk lamp. You get all the light you need without it reflecting off the monitor screen and you're not taking up precious desk space.
