Pro: 2-day ship, as advertised. No chips/scratches/dings. All fittings included. EXCELLENT installation video on the listing page. Feels solidly made. Amazing price. Con: No true product problems. Color didn't match, but no other seats did either. So, not really a true "con". The flipper on the installation nut - that I suspect is supposed to make it easier to install - actually gets in the way, but the screwdriver slots in the top solve that issue nicely. Dual slots, one thick, one thin, so most screwdrivers will fit one or the other. Over the years I have discovered that having any sort of 'off-white' fixtures (bone, almond, buff, biscuit, cream, ecru, Swiss coffee, or whatever the writers chose to call it) mostly means that seldom will anything match exactly. Haven't yet tried cleaning it, we'll see how that goes. I did notice that the manufacturer says to use only warm soapy water and not to use harsh chemicals. ... show more

I loved that I was able to exactly replace the seat that I had. Color size everything was perfect. And I got it in one day. The only thing I would add which is already in several reviews is that there were no instructions but what the hey save a tree and watch the helpful video for installation on the Amazon. The other is that its easier to old the bolt and twist the screw than to twist the bolt that doesn't work but still I was able to do this in a jiffy and I'm a non technical not extremely handy woman. ... show more

All my fixtures are American Standard bone. Over the years, I've ordered American Standard replacements seats. Turns out American Standard has now changed their toilet seat standard, turning their molded wood seats into a plastic wannabe. Called Bemis and spoke to a very nice person who told me Bemis color matches their seats and to let her know if I need further help. The new seat is a perfect match. If you have boys like me make sure they raise the lid before they pee because it will stain it and will not come off that easily once is dry. Unless they clean it every time they pee (good luck with that 😵💫) Other than that it looks great and fits perfectly.

I have installed 100 toilet seat and this is one of the easiest to install but only if you know what to do. Look for a YouTube video before installing. Install bolts first on Toilet Tighten Sturdy seat well made beats flimsy plastic seats i see sold at large hardware stores.

This is a good value. We bought it as a replacement for our Bemis wooden toilet seat. Note that the colors on the swatches shown are much darker than the real product. We ordered the Biscuit color, which looked like it would match exactly. It was white. Then, we ordered the Almond color, thinking it would probably be too dark. It matched our biscuit/off-white toilet almost exactly. So, just be aware of that when you purchase this. Other than that, we like it and gave it 5 stars. ... show more
