One suggestion is: the pen for the writing tablet needs a connecting string to it. The pen is placed on the backside of tablet in an insert, it’s already lost by young children.

The bemece LCD Writing Tablet is a neat idea and light enough for small children to handle. This is perfect for replacing a coloring book and ideal to entertain a child and bring out their creative side. I like that it has an 8.5” screen and that the controls are so simple that the child can operate themselves when they want to erase whatever they drew and want to start over on another image. I love the idea of our grandkids having a simple to use drawing tablet. We [parents and grandparents] are somewhat opposed to introducing children to a full-blown tablet at too young an age. They need to be able to express their own creativity at an early age rather than to “look” at the creativity of other older people’s drawings. All in all, this is a good age 3 years + drawing board, with two exceptions – 1. The screen image appears to be much brighter and more vibrant in images on-line and not so much when in hand. 2. If this were a low-voltage, rechargeable tablet rather than a replaceable button battery that needs to be opened up and replaced, small parts possibly lost or a danger, I would be more pleased. More than anything else, the screen colors and just not as bright as they could be with more power. I would easily pay more for a more vibrant screen experience and a rechargeable feature. I am inclined to give this drawing tablet Four Stars for the price and performance as a stocking stuffer
