Put 5 stars just so my review is seen. It’s a decent kit. But after about 6 months in, where the positive wire meets the fuse, it MELTED. The fuse didn’t pop, the wire literally just started melting alongside the fuse. Thankfully the fuse did its job and saved my amp, subs, etc. I’m sure this kit would work good for some, just not in my setup and for the power I’m pushing. Good Wiring kit for the price. The wires are copper clad aluminum, but there seems to be a decent amount of copper on them. I probably would not use this for a high-end system, but for my inexpensive subwoofer amp combination, it worked great. There was a generous amount of wire included in the kit.

I’ve had this kit for a couple years now has never gave me a problem until now the wire is not the best but for a low end System it will work just fine only problem I’ve had with it is the fuse has melted it didn’t actually blow which is a little concerning I’m running a Skar 1200.1d with a single Svr 12 at 2ohm so the amp should be pushing about 800Ws I wouldn’t not recommend but you could definitely find better for around the same price ... show more

I used this to mount a 2nd "house" battery into my offroad rig. The 4 gauge is ACTUAL 4 gauge and it worked out great for my application, plus I have extra speaker wire and rca's laying around now for future use!

Pros: -wire IS 4 guage -Fuse is high amp and can take high power -Quality is up there Cons: -Terminal kit is garbage (I had to get additional parts for things to even work properly) -You have to use wire cutters to get to wire (hasn't been pre done yet when you receive it) Overall I'd rate this like 3.5 stars. The reasoning be is that I had to find additional parts before this kit was complete. Terminal kit isn't too good but the wiring part of the kit is excellent and works extremely well. After I got through the few speed bumps, i must say this kit works amazingly! It's a 1000watt rms kit for my 550watt rms setup and it's gets LOUD (a little too loud). I'm not sure why people would want a 1000watt rms amp but this kit will work for it if you do. I WOULD definitely buy again if I needed to! ... show more

Wire was great. No problem and true to size. Buy this over those cheap wires. For me personally 4 gauge was more than enough for when I plan to upgrade later. Do yourself a favor and get this 4 gauge wire. When amps are concerned the bigger the better.
