Beautiful belt, the leather quality and craft looks and feels great. The only thing I wish was the buckle itself was bigger. It’s smaller than I’d like, so I’ll probably buy a bigger buckle to replace it and pass this smaller one on to my younger son.

So i recently moved and i have lost all my belts. I had (or have somewhere packed away in a moving box) a circle y and an artisan-made hand-tooled leather belt with my horse's name across the back center of the belt. it had a german silver buckle. I miss them dearly and needed a quick replacement till i find my belts. I saw this and thought, I’ll take a chance,,,my pants are falling down. Well,,,i couldnt be more pleasantly surprised! Very nice quality! Nice, solid buckle--but it’s not too heavy. Very, very comfortable--the most comfortable belt i have ever owned. And the rachet-type system is super cool and clever. Just be sure you understand how to loosen it before you put it on. there is a small lever on the bottom of buckle--you push it away from you to release the buckle. I am not mechanically inclined and panicked when i couldnt get it off. As far as fit goes--i ordered according to the size chart and it fits perfectly. the belt can be cut down but you must have 6" to spare to be able to fasten and have a little to tuck into your 1st belt loop. so if unsure or in between sizes, you could order up if you do not mind cutting it down to size. Or if you are in the process of losing weight, you can cut this down as your waistline goes down. Box is suitable for gift-giving. Price point is fabulous for this level of quality! My husband was even eying this up! Watch out for Belt envy!

I got this for my wife who is an actual horse person (not a drugstore cowgirl!) She loves this belt! It is made of thick pleather and fits her well. The belt buckle is a unique design that is actually extremely functional. It has a lever on the bottom of the buckle that one presses forward to release the buckle from the belt to take it off of one's waist. It can be adjusted in small increments because of the ratchet system of the belt. It came with a small set of instructions, if one needed them. The belt also shipped in a very sturdy presentation box so this would make a nice gift. My wife really liked the length and the fact that the belt can be cut shorter if need be. The cut end fits into the opposite end of the belt buckle and is held firmly in place by a ratchet tab with teeth in it. This buckle will not be accidentally releasing! At $28 with the nice carving on both the belt and the buckle, and the very realistic looking horse on the buckle, this is in line with other similar types of belts, so for the price, it's a good value for the money. I'm not sure of it's durability, but even though it is a pleather product, it is pretty thick. Hopefully, will hold up over time for my wife.
