5/25/25 UPDATE REVIEW: I've just received the 2nd of these belts (a "dual size" 40-42") that I ordered after the first (a 42-44") was way too long. I'll complain a little about the sizing of this belt, but mostly I'll just tell you what the sizing system is. I've been wearing a size 42" belt, which means (I assume this is standard) that the 42" hole is the middle of 5 holes. The 5 holes are 40, 41, 41, 43 and 44", measured from the base of the buckle. Overall length: 47" Since these are the measurements on a "single size" 42" belt, I assumed a "dual size" 40-42" belt holes would measure 39-40-41-42-43, with a 41" in the center. Nope, the holes on this 40-42" belt are also 40-41-42-43-44. (The holes on the 42-44" belt were 42-42-44-45-46) I can use the 40-42" belt (really a 40-44" belt) but I'm losing weight and already down to to the last hole or two. I'll soon be ordering a 38-40" belt, assuming the holes are spaced 38-39-40-41-42", and that I'll start off with the holes close to the center. At any rate, I think this newest 40-42" size belt is mislabeled, slightly. And I think all belt sellers should list the actual total length of their belts (from tip to buckle base) and the actual buckle-base-to-hole measurements. It would take a lot of guesswork out of ordering. However, I also confess I did not begin this whole process by measuring the length of my current belt from buckle-base to the hole(s) I most use. I don't know how durable these belts are, but they look nice, and are reversible to the brown side-- if you have the kind of screwdriver needed to unscrew the screw you need to reverse the buckle assembly (which will remain black) But at the cheap (pre-tariff) price, you could go thru a belt every year or two and not really be out any money. FIRST REVIEW: I'm a size 42. I ordered a size44-42. The belt I received was marked "44-42" but was actually at least a "46-44" if not a "48-46". None of the holes fit me. I would have had to punch holes an inch or two below the last hole on the belt for it to come close. So I returned it. Other than that, the belt seemed OK-- and I ordered another, size 40-42. But being so badly sized, and forcing me to go thru the rigamarole of returning and re-ordering, costs it 2-3 stars in my estimate. ... show more
