  • You get what you pay for just save it for a real bike
Color: White
Get what you pay for many parts are broken already only had it for a few months Made with cheap Chinese hardware would recommend replacing most hardware on the bike with actual high grade hardware Gas tank leaked one week after purchase had to replace it after owning it for only a few months and having to replace a majority of parts on it I would recommend just saving up for a real bike unless you're into that kind of stuff The pros of the bike is super light nimble as potential if the quality was there ... show more

  • WORST COMPANY AND PRODUCT EVER!!!
Color: Black
Why did you pick this product vs others?: 0 stars!!!! This has the opportunity for being an amazing bike. But this has been the worst buy, buying experience, and customer service from Amazon and from Belmonte bikes I have ever received!!! This bike came to our house with scratches, paint chips, exposed welds everywhere. It had a loose ignition mount, the tool compartment won’t close, the battery won’t hold a charge, the battery cover is close to impossible to get on and off. Then you get to electrical the high beams don’t work, hang brake light and running lights in back don’t work. And the worst thing is the the bolt in the shifter is broken causing the shifter to be loose and dangerous!! The customer service has been so far no help whatsoever and still battling forever on this! It makes me select a star or they would have 0 !!! ... show more

  • Fun to ride, Not the cons
Bought it and for the first 3 days it was nice. however the battery turned out not to hold a charge and nor was the ignition coil working proper.

  • Bought from Venom Motorsports.
I recently bought this bike, and the other review is true, it does have its' issues, which I will go over. However, I think it's a decent deal for the money, and the bike really isn't that bad. -Crappy Paint Job. Chipping, and mild rust on some tiny chipped locations on both front and rear mud guards, and the gas tank. -Front tire not true out of the box. -Box arrived damaged, but that is probably the carrier, not the manufacturer Other than those complaints though, I can't say this bike has any real issues. Don't buy this bike if you can't turn a wrench, and can't put time and a little dough into replacing and fixing parts. I repainted the bike with yellow tractor paint and threw ammunition can panniers on the sides. It starts very strongly, and runs fantastic. The motor is realistically a 225cc, but it's solid. It shifts okay, but the shifter pedal is small and may benefit from replacement. I didn't have any electrical issues out of the box, but some people do. Most people with these end up changing out the turn signals and the headlight/taillight. The brakes are lackluster, with a rear drum and a front disc. This isn't a race bike, for sure. If you want the bike, get it, and be prepared to wrench on it. You'd be wrenching on a $2000 Marketplace grab anyways. Venom Motorsports treated me alright, and I like the bike, so I'm giving a positive review. I think the branding sucks though, and makes it look terrible. It's not a chopper, and it's not a sportster, and it's not exactly a cafe racer. It's like a scaled up Honda CG125. The manufacturer is called Dongfang and the model is a DF250RTG if you want to do more research. There is a good forum called Chinariders.net I got most of my info from. 4/15/2025 : 1,200 KM UPDATE First off, the motorcycle has been a blast. I've taken it through city streets, through dirt trails, and even taken it camping. It's my first motorcycle, and it will forever hold that distinction. I have had no issues with anything mechanical on the bike. Engine, transmission, clutch, suspension and tires have been great. The knobby tires and 225cc engine, along with a low first gear, make for an excellent hill climber. The bike is lightweight and nimble, but it does suffer in strong wind. Fuel economy is great, too, but I haven't measured it. This motorcycle is extremely easy to work on, because it's so simple. Maintenance is easy. The wiring diagram is easy to follow, and helped me change the lights and find the blinker relay. I will write some mechanical tips for the bike down below. The bike is extremely nimble through towns and cities, and it's where it performs best. If you live and travel through urban areas, <40mph, this bike is ideal. Even country highways are okay, but they're pushing it. Now, onto the negative. Riding the bike at higher RPMs, it vibrates enough to hurt. This is because it has a single-cylinder engine, and they are notoriously difficult to balance. Even well-balanced single cylinder engines vibrate a lot, so it's kind of expected. The battery / airbox covers are very, very brittle. I broke the battery cover on the first day, and they need a redesign. I repurposed and bent an old license plate for the battery cover, and it works well. The stock turn signals also failed during the break-in, and the bulbs are low-quality. I replaced the turn signals with LEDs, and am looking at non-stock headlight replacements. I'll update the review at 5,000km if more issues arise. Okay, onto two little tips. 1. With this engine, you want to do at least two oil changes during the first 1000km. There are more metal bits from manufacturing in these engines than other brands, and it will make it a non-issue if you change the oil plenty during break-in. 2. If you replace the turn signals with LEDs, you're going to have to wire a resistor into both of the left and right sides. I wired them into the rear signals. Essentially, LEDs don't draw enough electricity for the blinker relay to work properly. If you wire a resistor into both sides, the resistor will draw enough electricity to "trick" the blinker relay into working like it should with normal bulbs. Anywho, it's been a fantastic learning experience so far. I hope somebody sees this to fix the issues on the bike, because it has great potential, and it looks like a classic Honda style motorcycle. ... show more

Youtube channel "bikes and beards" reviewed this bike. Their own MSO says its a 225 not a 250cc their tires are "DOT BO" rated which isn't an actual type of rating. paint was chipped, fenders warped, lights and other safety items very misaligned. tank edge was sitting over the seat leaving a thin metal edge pointing at your genetials in an accident sportster is a trademarked name from Harley Tank was improperly mounted in the rear, and even after fixed it came off during riding heel to shifter on it is unuseable with pegs brake pedal is at unuseable height. in the end it is unsafe and shouldnt be used ... show more
