Look, I’ve gone through more wallets than I care to admit—trying to find that perfect blend of form, function, and that little something extra you can’t always explain. Admittedly, I’m addicted to wallets. The Bellroy Flip Case Second Edition might just be it. Right out of the box, this thing feels premium. It’s got that satisfying magnetic snap when you flip it open, like it’s quietly telling you, “I’m not like the others.” And it’s not. The two-door design makes accessing cards easy without turning into a magic trick every time you need your license. Bellroy just gets it. I keep 3-5 cards on me max, and they all fit snug. No slippage, no digging. The molded interior feels secure, but not tight to the point of frustration. There’s a little room for a folded bill or two if you’re old school like me and like to keep some cash around, just in case. It’s slim. Like, actually slim. Not “we-shaved-a-millimeter-and-called-it-slim.” Slides into your front pocket with zero bulge and sits flat like it’s meant to be there. No more George Costanza wallet situation. If I had to nitpick—and I’m trying—it would be that glossy edge finish. Time will tell if it holds up, but I trust Bellroy’s build quality, and if anything, their warranty game is strong. In short: it looks sleek, works the way you wish all wallets did, and it’s low-key enough that you don’t feel like you’re trying too hard. If you’re tired of playing Goldilocks with wallets, this one might just be your “just right.”

I'm very happy with this wallet. it's very well designed well constructed and I feel safe using it. I used the slim wallet with the pull up tab but stopped using it because the main compartment became looser with use and I carry only 5 cards so it didn't hold them firmly anymore unless I added cards to the side pockets. With the flip case v2 there is no issues whatsoever. The only very minor detail is that it only carries 2 tri-folded bills + 5 cards. It's fine by me for most days but I have to carry my cash elsewhere in shopping days.

The wallet’s design is unique and beautiful. Looks advanced and the hinges operate as advertised. The leather is nice and holds up to scratching from keys and coins. I only carry three cards in the diagonal fold pocket and a couple of bills in the half fold pocket. If you’re buying this expecting it to hold a bunch of cards, be warned that a $5 folding wallet will do a much more effective job. This is a statement piece and it’s intended as a design and fashion accessory. This is not intended for the utilitarian crowd. It’s a great backup for travel or if you’re out at the beach and just want to carry a couple of cards. I use it as a primary wallet so I switch cards out for whichever occasion I’m using it for that week. Would buy again.

I really like this card wallet so far. Slim, fits all my cards, barely noticeable in my pocket. My only complaint(ish) is that I think the magnets could be stronger. To be clear, they hold really well as they are, I’m just picky. I would buy it again, for sure.

Case is great. Not going to post a picture of my cards inside, but I have three metal credit cards, two thick plastic ones plus my license and there is room for another. It closes strong and it looks great. Went from a Bellroy slim sleeve for the security and RFID protection. For $95 it is well worth it. My last Bellroy lasted nine years. If I get half that bonus. Don’t listen to the nitpickers complaining about everything it is worth it. If not just get yourself a rubber band.

This is plastic. There’s some blah-blah-blah in the product description about leather, but it feels, looks, and sounds (click-click!) like cheap plastic. Like an accessory you’d buy for your child’s Barbie-and-Ken business set. The fine print says they use 30% leather. Maybe they take the leather and pulverize it into dust, then mix it with the polymers and polyester. Maybe they have a thin sheet of leather coated entirely in plastic. But that’s what this nearly $100 product is: plastic.

The case is sturdy enough to hold up to pocket storage, and easily used. Capacity, I think is the deciding factor, but if it seems like something that fits your purposes, it will probably do the job. In the front half is space for two cards. Perfect if you typically use one or two cards. Mine are the newer un-embossed size, so YMMV. The rear can hold several cards depending on thickness, and the specs accurately reflects its capacity IMHO. To actually access them, you will need to remove the group and pick what you want, so the back is better suited to cards you infrequently use. If you would rather eeny, meany, miny, moe which card you use rather than sticking to a few frequent cards, a "fan" style opening would be better. Here's an example of what fits: Front: - 2 x credit / debt cards Rear: - Driver's license - Kroger Plus card - Health insurance card - Social security card (mine is laminated) - Car insurance paper card - Car registration (folded) - Library card + Plus a Band-Aid stuck between the small plastiboard that separates the cards from the outer case. For me, this works great because that effectively separates what I typically use from what I either need to carry (DL) or prefer not to have to remember (health insurance). If you want to carry cash, I'd suggest dedicating the entire rear compartment to bills or that plus a driver's license. The case is sturdy, and it won't accidentally open without leverage on the thumb-slot. If it doesn't close, you've jammed way too much crap inside. In terms of RFID protection, I can't speak to that without testing it, but based on thickness and materials, I would expect it to work as advertised.
