I purchased this to replace a regular leather fold wallet that I've had for over 15 years. Over the years I have transitioned away from having items not related to money or ID in my wallet. I rarely carry more than $40 on me anymore. So, my wife suggested several options to reduce my wallet pocketprint. This was one of the items she suggested. Read several reviews on amazon, etc, and watched a few. Decided to invest the $75. This wallet functions as advertised. It offers a great space to house credit cards and ID. I carry 8 cards in this wallet, including credit cards, ID, grocery cards, insurance cards, and my $20-$40. They all fit securely, including the money, and I have no concerns about anything accidentally falling or slipping out of the wallet. The RFID blocking does work. So, since I carry a card needed to access my work space I do need to expose the cards a bit to open the door. So no more just waving past the sense to get in. A very minor consideration but worth noting. I do highly recommend you use the fanning technique to access middle cards. Many of the reviews here and elsewhere will say that accessing cards in the middle is difficult. I affirm, yes it can be but it doesn't have to be. If you don't push the cards up so that the bottom of the the entire set of cards are flush with the the elastic strap before pressing the button of the wallet to fan the cards, you will find accessing those middle cards takes more effort. I suggest you practice how you might access cards in the front, middle, and back well before you start using the wallet out and about. This isn't a negative as it still takes less time to access card than it did when I had a traditional leather fold wallet. With that wallet I still had to open the fold, pull or finger through the cards and the pull the card out. With this wallet, I push, pull a bit, fan and pick the card. The design is sleek and looks super clean. If you're a person that has some of your credit cards saved to your phone and need a few additional cards and cast, this is a great wallet accessory. Durability, not sure what will happen there, but the only part of the wallet that feels cheap or lesser quality in "my hand" are the straps. So far after a week I am satisfied with my purchase. Also, some have mentioned the steep price. I have only purchased wallets once every 15 years, maybe. Seems reasonable "to me" to put some money into the item holding my money. I mean hell, I don't keep my valuables in paper bags, which "I'd argue" can be just as effective if not practical, I just prefer not to buy a paper bag when I could spend a a few more dollars for a cloth one that will hopefully last much longer.

I’ve had The Ridge wallet with money strap (Aluminum Navy) for less than a week and it is great! I love the look and feel. It is built solid. It’s so much smaller than my traditional leather wallet and now I only carry what I really need. No more wallet full of receipts or old unused credit cards or club cards. And no more bulky wallet in back pocket to mess up my hip, though I’m still getting used to not “feeling” a wallet back there. The Ridge wallet goes in my front pocket and I barely notice it’s there. I have 7 cards in it and fetching the right one takes a bit of getting used to. I found a video online where someone slides the cards out a bit then squeezes the other sides of the wallet to make it spread open so you can see all the card and pick the needed one. For the money holder I chose the strap because it seems to keep a slimmer profile than the money clip, but I think both are good. This slim line makes it a bit challenging to put money neatly under it because there really isn’t anything to grab to lift the money strap. I slid the strap to an edge and get under it to lift it that way. It works well for me. BTW You could install both the clip and strap on at the same time if you wanted to utilize both options. A concern I have is that when removing / replacing cards, they slide across the main elastic straps that hold the two halves of the wallet together and thus hold your cards in the wallet. Not sure how durable those straps are but I’d hate to for them to snap at an inopportune time. Not sure if those are covered under the warranty. A possible design change I thought of is to be able to “lock” the corner of the cards in place rather than having the elastic straps, and then just flip a card out like a jack knife blade to insert or swipe at the cash register reader. That is almost the functionality now when getting a card out for use except currently the card is free to come completely out of wallet. Anyway. Great product. Highly recommend it. I may even buy more to give as gifts.

I like this wallet, its design is clean and compact. and looks nice and sturdy. Forced me to cut down on what I carry in my wallet, but that's a good thing as I was carrying more than I need. The rest went in a drawer in case of need. Still, was able to fit an ID, 2 credit cards, debit card, costco card and a keycard. Put the most used items on the outsides for easy access. I got the model with the cash strap, and can fold up 6-10 bills of various denominations for cases when I need to pay cash. Nothing falls out and the bills don't get excessively worn. One issue is I had to move the wallet to my front pocket, as in the back pocket it quickly wore a hole in the pocket (and is rather obviously visible there). Overall it's a good wallet, keeps everything secure and everything still easy to access.

In 2020 my girlfriend bought me the carbon fiber Ridge wallet. 2 years later, I love it as much as I did the day I got it. I decided to buy this one for my dad as a Christmas gift because of how much I loved mine. Slim profile, RFID blocking, light weight and customizable. Lifetime warranty with great customer support if anything ever does happen. I added the new Apple AirTag money clip to my original wallet a few months ago and now, on top of just being an overall awesome wallet its trackable! Super easy to swap out the money band for a money clip or vice versa. Can't express enough how much I would recommend a Ridge. The one thing I would warn about is with the painted aluminum variants, they do tend to get kind of scuffed up over time from normal usage. The carbon fiber option however, not an exaggeration still looks perfect! I have been carrying it every day since around December 2020 and I honesty struggle when trying to find a single blemish. So, if that is something that may annoy you, I would recommend spending the extra few bucks up front and go for one of the carbon fiber options over the aluminum. When I got mine there was only the original carbon option available but now, in 2023 there are several and every one looks amazing! At the end of the day, no matter what one you pick it's going to be one of, if not THE BEST wallet you have ever owned. 10/10 would 100% recommend.

I saw Ridge Wallet on one of the youtube channels I frequent and decided to give it a shot. I'm one for spending a lot for quality and something that will last a long time. A trifold leather wallet only lasts so long. Spend a little more to get something that lasts longer grabbed my attention. First and foremost, this is something that takes time to get used to. I remember stopping at a gas station and fumbling to find the right cards. Get the card for a slight discount and my credit card. It was frustrating. I looked online and found a trick that I use to this day: Push all of the cards up - through the half circle cut out - and pinch the back. This will open the entire thing up and make it easier to locate your card. Once I mastered that, it's easy. After the warm-up period, I absolutely love it. I no longer feel my wallet in my pocket and I no longer stuff unnecessary items into it (you know....like a Costanza wallet....if you get that reference). I do have a few concerns, however..... I wish both a cash strap and clip were offered to every Ridge Wallet. My one HUGE gripe with this wallet is that it does not easily accommodate larger cards or paper cards like business cards or those from local businesses where you get stamps and eventually get a fee item. I have to wonder if a money clip would free up just enough space. I'm also worried about the friction between cards and it influencing their overall functionality. Shortly after purchasing my ridge wallet, my primary credit card lost it's ability for the "tap" function. Granted, the card is old and I should ask for a replacement with or without the Ridge Wallet. I caution anyone as far as purchasing this for a parent (fathers day). They are old and stuck in their ways. I may be slightly biased because I'm a terrible gift giver, so spending roughly 90 bucks on a wallet - something that is used daily - is a big risk. This is something you need to bring up in a conversation and let them make their own decisions.

It's very nice to own a wallet that I can carry in my front pocket and not have some fat thing hurting my backside sitting on it. These may seem expensive to some people and admittedly I've never spent so much on a wallet but I'm more than happy with the wallet and it's super convenient and I am glad I bought it. I'd looked at them and was ambivalent about it but I decided to go for it and it was worth it in my estimation. Plus, lifetime guarantee is a great bonus. Honestly, it's the best wallet I've ever owned. Theres one caveat. I haven't figured out a good way to carry certain things in it I used to carry in zippered bifold or trifold wallets with the plastic sleaves they contain. Irregardless, I really, really like this wallet and it's durable and excellent for slipping into your front pocket. The bill clip and band do an awesome job of holding some mad money too. I purchased this in June of 2022 and I’m still using it continuously and it has held up very well carrying it in my front pants pocket along with keys and spare change. In this day and age of using tap to pay this is essential. Seeing news reports of people using tap to pay and the radio frequencies charging unprotected RFID cards in someone’s wallet makes this wallet all the more essential for avoiding the lunacy of modern technology.
