Measures the way it's listed in the photos. Assembles fine, but you have to be really precise with how you put the desk edges together or you'll have to partially disassemble it to fit the desk boards in. The positive aspect of that, there is isn't any significant gap between the desk boards and the metal rail holding them up. The smaller allen key stripped pretty quickly for me which made the later stages more difficult than they needed to be, but that was likely just user error. The shelves on the left side of the desk are a bit flimsy, which is weird because everything else is pretty solid, so that might just be user error on assembly. ... show more

Got the queen size. The frame isn't much larger than the mattress tho our mattress is a bit taller than most. The boxes are heavy. If you have stairs plan on getting a little help to move them. Took about 4 hours or so for one person to put together with breaks. Very sturdy. The stairs are squared metal so if you have tender hands or feet it might not feel the greatest.
