I purchased this Queen size loft bed in May 2025 for my teenage son. I knew that I wanted to get him a loft bed after a trip to Ikea and he loved the idea...but they were all so short in length and height and my son is already TALL and still growing like a freaking weed, so I came to amazon hoping to find a taller/longer version. I was delighted to see a Queen size variant! (From the measurments and now seeing it in person, it should fit a person up to 6'5" comfortably...anything over that is pushing it imo) This one especially because it was in my price range. Now that he has been using it for four months, I wanted to write a review because there were not many on the Queen size option when I purchased this. The bed gets delivered in two boxes...one was 90lbs and the other was about 70lbs. Due to it being Queen size, the boxes were looong and clearly on the heavy side. But I (his mother in her early 30's) did get them inside myself, although I did wait for his dad to lug them up the stairs leading to my second floor apartment. (Private entry so they were in the entryway for a week before he came over to help. So if you live in an apartment thats not private entry, make sure you can get them inside your unit same day). I totally could have dragged them up the stairs....but I decided to wait for help lol. Now for what I was most interested in... how difficult it was to put the bed together. One review said it took them nine hours??? Others said it was difficult, some said it was easy... I am single and was semi nervous after reading these reviews so I decided I would need help. My sons dad and I co-parent really well, I consider him a friend, so I recruited him to help. I found that one adult can put 95% of this bed together in about 2 hours... I did have to help at the end getting all the slats in to hold the mattress...so I would say two adults are needed to save yourself frustration, haha. But omg NO WAY, it didnt take anywhere near nine hours!! And it was genuinly easy to put together, just make sure you have all the pieces facing the correct direction and dont put them in backwards. YOU GOT THIS LOLOLOL. First impressions I had were it looks great for the price and does save space. Even after tightening all the screws, It was pretty wobbly getting in and out of the bed, but once you are up there its fine. I dont think mounting it to a wall would help. I think they would just rip out of the wall. Tbh I think this is standard for most styles of bunkbed/loft bed. Its gunna be wobbly. While it is wobbly im not worried its dangerously unstable or anything like that. (After 4 months of use its still just as wobbly as day one, it didnt get worse, so I think that's great!) I purchased this bed to utilze more vertical space for my son. It definitely accomplished this. His room is much more spacious now that his desk fits under his bed and he doesnt have a full size bed jutting out into the middle of his room taking up most of his space. My son is already tall so I knew he needed bigger than a full size loftbed just to fit his length, a Queen size is perfect!! I am 5'7 and have to bend down quite a bit to get under the bed into the loft space, obviously my son who is taller does as well. But his computer is under there with his gaming computer chair and there is plenty of room still while he sits. (The space is meant for sitting, so I don't think of this as a con.) The wooden desktop that comes with the bed looks nice and the plugs work great and were easy to install. Make sure there is an outlet near so you can plug it in. I opted not to use the double sided tape that came with the wooden desktop. We just set them in there. It didnt seem necessary, and we were correct. They haven't fallen out yet and he uses the desk about five times a week lol. Another nice thing is there is plenty of room to put shorter dressers/nighstands/plastic drawers under the desk space built into the bed for extra storage. Also his old desk fits under the bed perfectly on the side where the ladder is! Using the vertical space in his room helped so much and it looks so much more "put together". The only major "con" I can think of is that it's PAINFUL to walk up and down the ladder. The steps are tiny metal bars about an inch across, not rounded, but cube shaped, and made of metal lol. My son wears slippers when going up and down the stairs, boom, problem solved. I also do want to point out while I say the bed is space saving for my family and our needs, its still a HUGE bed. Please keep that in mind. Ultimately, I was nervous to buy a Queen size loft bed. I didn't even know they existed before I was searching Amazon after my trip to Ikea!! For the price I paid and how space saving it is, I am happy with my purchase and think its definitely worth 5 stars. This is a great bed if you cannot afford one of the $800 to $3500 options out there. I do recommend it, find it as safe and sturdy as any other loft/bunk bed, and also think it looks great. I hope my review helps you decide, I say go for it!! (We didnt use the lights that came with the bed, so cannot comment on that)

Everything would be great on this item except that it wobbles and creaks and sometimes I feel like it may just come crashing down. I must like living on the edge because after the first night where I wanted to return it I gritted my teeth and learned to love it. I do like the outlet and desk functionality and though difficult to assemble it wasn't impossible with two people. I must be part bird because I am still sleeping on it. I have a request though..can you build a way for my cats to climb up and snuggle with me?

so not as sturdy as I would’ve liked. But overall, the quality is pretty good. I just needed to anchor it to the wall in a few different places so it wouldn’t shake so much other than that the fit and functionality is pretty good.

Easy to put together. I did it by myself (33 year old women). Yes it took longer putting it together solo, but doable nonetheless. Instructions were easy to follow. Three minor complaints… it’s a bit wobbly, the stairs hurt my feet and it says the queen only supports about 350 lbs (which probably would be enough for a husband and wife). Definitely meant for one individual. Overall decent product for the money spent.

Not very story feeling. Does come with some brackets to screw it into a wall, which is probably the best idea. Otherwise its pretty shakey to climb up and sit in. The desk on the bottom is very nice. Threw some LED strings around the bottom for the kiddo. She loves it.
