I used this brew bag on my latest brew. It worked fine, my only complaint is that the geometry of these bags is such that when they are raised over the brew kettle, they don't drain from the center of the bag and some wort was thereby lost over the side of the kettle. I guess they're meant to be used with kettles with larger diameters than my humble Gigawort. ... show more

Fine mesh left very little sediment in our apple cider. Bags fit in a 5 gallon bucket easily and the ample drawstring made it easy to close the bag even when full of crushed apples. I use this bag when brewing beer. The bag is larger than most other options and appears to be better quality. This bag is superior in all ways from my past bags. The stitching is straight and tight, and the drawstring is excellent. I recommend this bag and will reorder as needed.

After reading the reviews I figured it was worth the risk for the price. Turns out these are very sturdy and work well. Has go through 4 brew days with anything from 5lbs grains for partial mash to a 13lbs big beer all grain. No rips and can still do more. Drains very easy and cleans out easily as well.
