I got this to help rehab my back. I use it for hip thrusts obviously, and occasionally on chair dips, the weight went too low for pushups. It wasn't useful across the shoulders for me, got very uncomfortable at any useful amount of weight. As much as I was thankful for the better back, it annoyed me to have a piece of equipment with too few uses. However, its stability across the lap got me thinking of the total gym I had that was folded up and gathering dust, and laid across the pad there it's very stable and made a difference in being able to challenge myself in more exercises. Obviously avoid this if your weight + belt weight is higher than your model accommodates. It did require a little more creativity getting into positions where the pad doesn't start at the bottom but I found that sufficiently stretched out I could reach the handles with my feet on the foot plate and then I could push the pad up securely with my back.

Made hip thrusts so much easier. I work out in my home gym and have limited access to barbells. Being able to strap a couple dumbbells on the sides and life with ease without bruising my hips every time is awesome! Its a simple, well made item and is so light weight that you could easily travel with this.

I work out from home, it can be expensive to find things that are useful but this is a no brainer! Easy to use and makes the glute exercises much more doable. It’s a must!

The band is comfortable but the dumbbells shift around . I have pulled the wrap as tight as possible and the weights slip. The quality is good for the price.
