Okay I'll admit it I'm a bit of a health food junkie that means I just consume protein shakes and go to the gym hardly.. And as a result I've gone through quite a few little handheld mixers. I was struck by the quality of the manufacturing and the flexibility that the blender as well as the bladed mixer provide it means that I can break down ice and turn it into an icy breakfast drink or I can mix it to turn into a frappe or any other kind of delicious tasty treat. It might be too soon to tell but I've already used it several times and so far it's been great. I bought one of these immersion mixers (different brand) awhile back, it broke within a few months. I can tell this one is much better quality. It feels very durable, it's easy to handle, chops & mixes perfectly and it's super easy to clean. Update: it’s now almost August and this mixer is still going strong. I use it often and have no complaints. I would definitely recommend it. Update#2 It’s now June 2024 and I felt like updating my review since my Ninja blender died so I’m now strictly using this mixer almost every day to make acai bowls & smoothies, it gets a pretty good beating having to chop and blend frozen solid fruit but it handles it like a champ. It goes through the frozen açaí packs, frozen strawberries & frozen blueberries very quickly and thoroughly, no chunks left behind, unless you want chunks, otherwise it’s completely smooth. So after a year and a half of using this mixer very frequently to chop/blend frozen fruit, there’s no sign of it slowing down, it’s still going very strong. I’m sure at some point it will come to the end of its life, and when that happens, I will buy another one just like it, or the upgraded version. I recently bought the BELLA Immersion Blender with Whisk Attachment in black, and I’ve been using it for a few weeks to make soups, smoothies, and sauces. It’s been a reliable tool in my kitchen. This is a decently good immersion blender. You have to hold the button down which I don't mind. The power behind the speeds are there. I was under the impression it was cordless as that was what I was looking for and it is in fact NOT cordless. It wasn't a big deal it was just more of an annoyance because the cord kept getting tangled. The whisk I didn't like very much unless I whisked something in a tall cup. If I tried to whisk something in a bowl it would splatter everywhere no matter how I held it at different angles to not splatter. It's a little heavier than others but that's not the biggest deal either. It's all preference. The power behind the blender as well is quite loud. ... show more
