  • MTB Full-Face Helmet
Color: Matte Dark Gray/Gunmetal Size: Medium (55-59 cm)
Safety is a top priority when it comes to mountain biking, especially if you’re tackling downhill trails or rough, technical terrain. After putting the MTB Full-Face Helmet through its paces on several rides, I can confidently say it’s a game-changer for riders who want to protect their head without compromising on comfort, performance, or style. Here’s my full review after using it in a variety of conditions: Fit & Comfort: The first thing I noticed about this helmet is how well it fits. It features an adjustable dial system at the back, making it easy to customize the fit to your head shape. Once on, the helmet feels snug but not overly tight—it's supportive without causing any discomfort. The interior padding is soft and breathable, which is a big plus during long rides. Even on hot days, I didn’t experience any excessive sweating, thanks to the ventilation channels that help with airflow. Overall, it provides a secure fit that stays in place, even during intense rides. Protection: When it comes to full-face helmets, protection is the name of the game, and this one excels. It’s built with a tough, impact-resistant shell that’s designed to absorb shocks in the event of a fall or collision. The chin bar provides extra coverage, which is crucial when riding on high-speed trails or technical descents where crashes can happen unexpectedly. I feel much more confident knowing my face and jaw are protected, especially since full-face helmets provide significantly more protection than traditional half-shell designs. Ventilation & Breathability: As mentioned earlier, the ventilation on this helmet is great. There are multiple vents positioned around the helmet to ensure airflow, which helps keep you cool and prevents excessive heat buildup. While it’s not as breathable as an open-face helmet, it’s definitely among the best full-face options when it comes to ventilation. After a few hours of riding in warm weather, I didn’t feel like I was suffocating under the helmet, which is a huge plus for me. Visor & Visibility: The visor on this helmet is adjustable, allowing you to customize it depending on your riding position or the amount of sun exposure you’re facing. It’s sturdy and doesn’t wobble or move around during the ride. I found it to be a perfect balance between blocking out the sun and still maintaining excellent visibility. It doesn’t obstruct my view, and I didn’t have any issues with it interfering with my goggles or glasses, which is a nice touch. Goggles Compatibility: Speaking of goggles, this helmet is designed with goggles in mind. The fit is comfortable and provides enough space for even larger goggles to sit securely without feeling cramped. The goggle strap has a perfect spot on the back of the helmet, preventing it from slipping or sliding, so you don’t have to worry about your goggles falling off during a ride. Whether you’re riding in dusty conditions or racing through a muddy trail, the helmet pairs effortlessly with your goggles. Durability & Build Quality: The MTB Full-Face Helmet feels incredibly sturdy and durable. The outer shell is made from high-quality polycarbonate or fiberglass (depending on the model), ensuring that it can withstand impacts and bumps. After taking a few spills, I noticed no significant damage, and the helmet retained its shape. The inner foam is also high-density, which helps absorb impact, and the chin guard is rigid yet comfortable. This helmet is clearly designed to take some hits and keep performing. Weight: For a full-face helmet, this one is surprisingly light. It’s much lighter than some of the bulkier full-face models out there, which is a big plus when you’re climbing or on longer rides. The lightweight design doesn’t compromise on protection, and I didn’t feel like it was weighing me down during those uphill sections. Value for Money: While this helmet is an investment, it offers fantastic value for money. The combination of excellent protection, comfort, and performance makes it worth every penny. It’s a great option for anyone who rides aggressive trails, downhill, or just wants extra peace of mind on technical descents. For the level of protection and features it provides, it’s competitively priced compared to other premium full-face helmets. Conclusion: The MTB Full-Face Helmet is an outstanding choice for riders who prioritize safety, comfort, and performance. It’s durable, lightweight, and designed to provide maximum protection for downhill and aggressive trail riders. The fit is customizable, the ventilation is solid, and it pairs perfectly with goggles, making it an all-around excellent choice for any serious mountain biker. Whether you’re just starting to ride downhill or are a seasoned pro, this helmet will provide the protection and comfort you need to ride with confidence. ... show more

  • Exactly what I wanted for MTB
Color: Matte Dark Gray/Gunmetal Size: Small (52-56 cm)
I am a mid-30s gal that wants to keep up with boyfriend riding e-bikes on trails. I had a crash with an open faced normal helmet and was way too close to knocking my front teeth out! I tried several full face helmets from other competitors this Bell was the best fit, quality, style, comfort and value for the money spent (way cheaper than new teeth). The detachment is easy and the helmet looks stylish. It’s lightweight on your head and doesn’t affect visibility or disable your ride in any way. I was worried it would feel heavy but it’s perfect. It dial tightens in the back, the cheek pads are perfect, I feel much safer and more confident when riding. It’s sleek and doesn’t look dorky. I’m a medium size gal 130 lbs 5’8” ordered a size small. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Love it.
Color: Gloss White/Black Size: Large (58-62 cm)
This is a great product. Lightweight and good airflow. Easy to take off the chin guard. I added some reflective stickers to it. I wear a 7 and 5/8" fitted hat and went with the large. Fits great and the MIPS design allows you to dial it in to make it just the right amount of snug.

  • for 200+ dollars I was expecting a superior helmet far beyond what you'd get for 20-60 bucks
I've been riding with this helmet for about 3 months now. I ride trails on a full suspension Mtb and a cyclocross to work everyday, while wearing the full helmet. I purchased this helmet because it's the only lightweight, breathable, optional full face on the market currently. I had an accident on my daily commute while I was wearing a roadie helmet and slid for about 10 yards in the grass, on my face. The basic helmet didn't help at all. Since I was riding trails too, I decided on this. I'll be honest, for 200+ dollars I was expecting a superior helmet far beyond what you'd get for 20-60 bucks. The buckles and straps, the pads, the MIPS protection all feel very good and are of quality... But it still somewhat feels like the cheaper helmets. The paint job really sets it apart though; I picked up the Orion colors. Overall, this protects my face for the uses I put it through. It's very comfortable, and breathes very well, like a roadie helmet. It's not very aerodynamic, but personally I don't care. I can also remove the full face if I'm just on a low paced stroll with the GF. I wouldn't take it on a downhill track, but for everything else it fits the bill. Is it worth the money? For me, and others that have similar uses, yes. If you feel the price could be too steep, then you're probably right. If you don't absolutely feel the need for a full face, stick with one of the regular helmets on sale at your lbs or performance. For the hardcore downhillers, you probably want something a little more... Hardcore. 5 stars for me - if you're on the fence or consider yourself extreme red bull stuff - look elsewhere. ... show more
