  • APPROVED: Many Crashes Tested By An Old And Immature Fella
Color: Gloss White/Black Size: Medium (55-59 cm)
My background is motorcycles. I used to roadrace and some motocross. I used motorcycle helmets. One would assume with my old age (54), I would get wiser. Well, I didn’t. For some reason, I got in to riding Electric Unicycles (EUC). My assumption that my experiences in life would convey with learning these things but it did not and was the hardest thing for me to learn EVER! Once I figured it out, after many wrecks, it is the best thing ever and I have thousands of miles on several machines already. Oh yea, I still wreck! I bought the Bell helmet first thing. I was going to get a helmet without a face shield but I’m glad that I didn’t. When I bought it, I was unaware that the face portion was removable and that was a cool feature but made me wary in the event of an accident. I was worried that I would not be protected. My main interest was that it had so many holes and the ventilation looked really nice for these lower speeds. I get it, a fall is a fall and protection is paramount but I was a fat and sweaty fella at the time and just didn’t want to smell like a boar when arriving at work daily. I have had the helmet for almost three years now! I use it every ride. No, I mean that I USE it almost every ride on these dangerous EUCs! I have fallen forward, backward and sideways. I’ve slid on it and done stupid stuff. I can safely say that my head and face were the only things that I have not injured in any way. I have literally slid on my face and only had rashes on my knees as my knee pads slid down after the initial impact. You could say that I have been doing the Crash Dummy testing on this helmet! IT WORKS! Now, the other junk beyond the protection. It looks cool enough. It’s extremely light weight. It doesn’t have 3 years of stink emitting from it and the Texas heat with my sweat. I can put it on with my AirPods in my ears. If I need to adjust the AirPods, I jab my fingers through one of the many air holes in the helmet and move that little guy. Motorcycle people would understand the frustration of adjustments from the bottom with the padding. Minus the grass stains, scratches and a series of red paint lines I got from hitting a fire lane curb with my head, this thing looks fine. It’s easy to put on and take off for sure and the adjustment is simple. Does it help me pick up more chicks? Well, I’m 54 and I’m riding a silly EUC. I can’t say that I’m the right person to test that stuff out. I guess I can show up to dates versus not showing up. I pretty much kill the vibe rolling up like a teenager on a stinkin’ EUC… I have recked a lot. I have hurt everything on my body and broken ribs. I have not hurt my head or face. EVER! I like the helmet. After 3 years, I recommend the helmet. It’s cool looking and functional. That’s all I would need to know. ... show more

  • MTB Full-Face Helmet
Color: Matte Dark Gray/Gunmetal Size: Medium (55-59 cm)
Safety is a top priority when it comes to mountain biking, especially if you’re tackling downhill trails or rough, technical terrain. After putting the MTB Full-Face Helmet through its paces on several rides, I can confidently say it’s a game-changer for riders who want to protect their head without compromising on comfort, performance, or style. Here’s my full review after using it in a variety of conditions: Fit & Comfort: The first thing I noticed about this helmet is how well it fits. It features an adjustable dial system at the back, making it easy to customize the fit to your head shape. Once on, the helmet feels snug but not overly tight—it's supportive without causing any discomfort. The interior padding is soft and breathable, which is a big plus during long rides. Even on hot days, I didn’t experience any excessive sweating, thanks to the ventilation channels that help with airflow. Overall, it provides a secure fit that stays in place, even during intense rides. Protection: When it comes to full-face helmets, protection is the name of the game, and this one excels. It’s built with a tough, impact-resistant shell that’s designed to absorb shocks in the event of a fall or collision. The chin bar provides extra coverage, which is crucial when riding on high-speed trails or technical descents where crashes can happen unexpectedly. I feel much more confident knowing my face and jaw are protected, especially since full-face helmets provide significantly more protection than traditional half-shell designs. Ventilation & Breathability: As mentioned earlier, the ventilation on this helmet is great. There are multiple vents positioned around the helmet to ensure airflow, which helps keep you cool and prevents excessive heat buildup. While it’s not as breathable as an open-face helmet, it’s definitely among the best full-face options when it comes to ventilation. After a few hours of riding in warm weather, I didn’t feel like I was suffocating under the helmet, which is a huge plus for me. Visor & Visibility: The visor on this helmet is adjustable, allowing you to customize it depending on your riding position or the amount of sun exposure you’re facing. It’s sturdy and doesn’t wobble or move around during the ride. I found it to be a perfect balance between blocking out the sun and still maintaining excellent visibility. It doesn’t obstruct my view, and I didn’t have any issues with it interfering with my goggles or glasses, which is a nice touch. Goggles Compatibility: Speaking of goggles, this helmet is designed with goggles in mind. The fit is comfortable and provides enough space for even larger goggles to sit securely without feeling cramped. The goggle strap has a perfect spot on the back of the helmet, preventing it from slipping or sliding, so you don’t have to worry about your goggles falling off during a ride. Whether you’re riding in dusty conditions or racing through a muddy trail, the helmet pairs effortlessly with your goggles. Durability & Build Quality: The MTB Full-Face Helmet feels incredibly sturdy and durable. The outer shell is made from high-quality polycarbonate or fiberglass (depending on the model), ensuring that it can withstand impacts and bumps. After taking a few spills, I noticed no significant damage, and the helmet retained its shape. The inner foam is also high-density, which helps absorb impact, and the chin guard is rigid yet comfortable. This helmet is clearly designed to take some hits and keep performing. Weight: For a full-face helmet, this one is surprisingly light. It’s much lighter than some of the bulkier full-face models out there, which is a big plus when you’re climbing or on longer rides. The lightweight design doesn’t compromise on protection, and I didn’t feel like it was weighing me down during those uphill sections. Value for Money: While this helmet is an investment, it offers fantastic value for money. The combination of excellent protection, comfort, and performance makes it worth every penny. It’s a great option for anyone who rides aggressive trails, downhill, or just wants extra peace of mind on technical descents. For the level of protection and features it provides, it’s competitively priced compared to other premium full-face helmets. Conclusion: The MTB Full-Face Helmet is an outstanding choice for riders who prioritize safety, comfort, and performance. It’s durable, lightweight, and designed to provide maximum protection for downhill and aggressive trail riders. The fit is customizable, the ventilation is solid, and it pairs perfectly with goggles, making it an all-around excellent choice for any serious mountain biker. Whether you’re just starting to ride downhill or are a seasoned pro, this helmet will provide the protection and comfort you need to ride with confidence. ... show more
